I pre-ordered mine 4 PM central on the 14th. My email from verizon said deliver by 28th and when i check status it says ship by 28th... which one is right? CC was not charged yet. Also if new customer anyway i can call in to try and get a tracking number or does your CC need to be billed first?

I hope all of you know you can dial 611 on your iPhone and get the 1-800 Vz number airtime-free. Just saying... Then all the holds aren't so painful.
I'm getting my iPhone 5 today via FedEx Overnight. Yesterday at noon, my order status shifted to "Sent to processing." About 1 p.m., my CC was charged. No tracking number by the time I went to bed, but the FedEx tracking email from Vz was there this morning.
I ordered by phone to Verizon at 6:30 a.m. PDT the 14th with a delivery date of 9/26. Later that changed to a "shipping date" of 9/26. So, I'm a day earlier than predicted, one way or another.
BTW, my order is being shipped from Connecticut!! (I live on California's Central Coast). My location number from the order started with D543xxx, if that's any help to anyone. Guess I'm signing off this thread (Hurray!) Good luck to you all...😱

Finally got my tracking number late last night. 9 a.m. Pacific time order on 9/14 with an original delivery est of 9/26.
FedEx tracking still showing 9/26 est, but phone still sitting on the ground in Memphis. Hasn't moved since I got the tracking number.

Will this process work if my family is switching from ATT to Verizon?
Also, my expected ship date is now blank? (ordered 9/14 around 3pm at vzw store). I swear it was showing 9/28 for ship date.

Thats how mine is..says it was shipped around 1am this morning..got the email from vzw at 2am and says it will be delivered today but it says its still picked up..hasn't said out for delivery or nothing
And now we're shipped with a tracking number.

Hoping that mine will be shipping soon. My husband ordered it over the phone (as we had to get my upgrade date moved) around 9pm on the 14th. The order confirmation showed a deliver by date of 9/28, but the preorder tracking shows the 28th as the expected ship date.
Well i was suppose to get mine today but the rep at FedEx said something about some kinda delay (not sure if it was flight or whatever, wasn't paying attention) So i will be receiving my Iphone 5 tomorrow for sure! Finally!

I've been checking this forum and thought ok, maybe I should call now to check on my status. According to the person I spoke with, he said that our order is not showing up. But not to worry because he said that they normally do not show up until its ready to go.
Does that sound right? I'm nervous that it didn't go through but I know there was a confirmation email, I just don't have it. Thanks.

Yeah I ordered at 6AM EST, on the 14th. Got it on the 21st. I called too, and they told me the same thing.
Just got my tracking number...iphone is set to be delivered tomorrow the 26th....i pre-ordered on 9/14 at 2:30 pm eastern time and original delivery date was set for 9/28 but it looks like i am going to receive it on the 26th...hope some others that was scheduled for delivery on the 28th gets theres tomorrows as well...

I ordered mine on the 20th, expected delivery is Oct 5 from Verizons website directly. Now with Foxconn having their issues I'm curious if mine will be delayed.
mine was ordered around 11 EST, and I still don't have a tracking number... They are fulfilling orders that were placed after mine?? Interesting...

I ordered my phone in the Verizon store on the 16th and I just got a call from FedEx saying my phone would arrive some time tomorrow. My CC has not been billed yet and I tried looking up my tracking info and it was all still blank. not sure whats up. Hopefully I do end up getting my phone tomorrow though.

when i ordered it said deliver by 9/21, then got an email later that said deliver by 9/28... hope it hasn't been pushed again...

JUST received mine! Opened it and it has little color fading away on both sides at the top little cut off, everything else is perfect! I don't mine the litte discoloration! I decided to use this phone without a case because I love the way it feels and I don't feel like putting it in a bulky case 🙂
