Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I pre-ordered my 64gb Black iPhone 5 a bit late into the morning of the 14th, and have a "Ships by 9/26" status. However, some news sites reported that for a while Verizon re-listed launch day stock for pre-orders again. That didn't change my expected delivery. That would be lame if they didn't make that extra stock available for the earlier pre-orders.
Don't think that matters. Mine is in the million range and I ordered within the first 10 minutes.
Need to see a few more Verizon orders being shipped, before this can be believed.
Based on people who preordered iPhone 4S last year. Their emails said delivery by and the status said ship by, but it turned out it was really delivers. Because they got it on launch
The FedEx part is not on the line like other lines

I just don't see what that guy has to gain from photoshopping it, but maybe you're right
I finally broke down and ordered one. I wasn't thrilled about the updates and I don't have LTE. But I figured this is probably going to be the last oppertunity I have to get one at subsidized pricing so I went ahead and did it. I also was desperate for space so the chance to bump to 32GB's was nice. Says it will be here by the 5th and that's fine with me. I got over needing something on release day a long time ago.
People get enjoyment out of small lies either for attention or some kind of mental illness. It's photoshopped.
My 4S came around 9:45-10:00AM EST. It was pretty early, I thought it was going to come later in the day.
Mine came early last year too. UPS man knocking actually woke me up...had fallen asleep on the couch
Everyone really needs to relax. I preordered the 4 when it first came out through Verizon... and everyone was going nuts for the week following up to its delivery. It doesn't matter if someone else's order is "shipped" and yours is still "processing." If you have a delivery date of 9/21, expect it to be delivered on 9/21. I remember when I did the preorder for the iPhone 4, and some people had their statuses as "shipped" way ahead of other people that ordered the same time, and guess what? Didn't matter. Everyone got their phone on the same exact day. So relax! If you're getting a delivery date of 9/21, expect your phone on Friday.
This has pretty much happened with every apple preorder I've done. People get all nervous and anxious and obsessive and then everything is fine.
Don't bother calling on Sunday. I got routed to a number 800-837-4966. That rep said he had to transfer me again to an unpublished number for pre-orders. Where I got an automated message saying they were only open during weekday business hours.
But the preorder link on the first page is showing 'processing' for both orders I placed - one an existing Verizon acct, and one for a transfer from ATT.
