Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I did this for my wife's phone, I printed out the FedEx tracking information, wrote them a note telling them where to leave it, and signed it.

Good to know! We did some more research and saw that we can just tell them to hold the package at the fedex store and pick it up. So I think we will do that.
Ordered the 17th, in the evening, said it'd ship by 10/5, but tracking numbers and couriers are blank.. does have order confirmation though.. any ideas?

Sometimes there is no update at all. I have had phones arrive and the status still said in transit. Don't sweat it. You will have it by 10/5

I have the same Ace Order Location (D771901) and my phone is also being shipped to Rochester, NY. I just received email confirmation for shipment, tracking isn't available through FedEx yet.
Pre-Ordered iPhone 5 16gb white evening of the 17th.

I called a Verizon store near me today because I was sick of waiting for my preorder and they said they had no clue when more would come in, but it would probably be a while.
yes it's been processed, no idea on the card.. it's my dads
take your ACE location number and ACE order number add "_000" in between them and do a fedex reference search. that's how i got my tracking number. also if you call *611, it will tell you if new equipment has been shipped for that line and you can get the tracking number that way as well

Alright so here is my current situation that I am in and I was wondering if some of you would be able to help me out.
Anyways so I pre-ordered the iPhone 5 on Sept. 19th in the store. And it says on the receipt Approximate Shipment date: 10/05/2012.
Ok here are my questions that I hope somebody can help me out on and would be very much appreciated.
(Ordered 1 iPhone Black 32GB and 1 iPhone Black 16GB)
1. I have the Appl. ID No.: and Pre-ship # on my receipt they gave me. Any thing I can use with that to check out where it is or anything?
2. If you pre-ordered in store does store usually get faster priority or?
3. I don't want them to wait till both of them to come in to call me or do they usually ship in 2?
4. I already called them twice and just asked if they're in yet and they said no. I just don't want to bug them but I just want to know if they're is some way of tracking it.
So basically if anybody can help me out here it would be very much appreciated and if I think of anything else I will edit or just add another post.

Edit: Just used the first link in the OP post and put last name and my Ship # in and got Order Status: Your order has been sent out for processing. First time I check it and that's all it says. Is this good or?

if credit card has been charged, it's shipping and will take 2-3 to arrive
It gives me this number also for Order Location. Is there anywhere I can go to get like an Idea where it is? Also thanks for the quick reply.

Got my tracking number at 11pm last night. No updates on FedEx, so it must have been assigned at the Verizon warehouse and waiting for pick-up today.
