Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

As soon as they charged my AMEX it showed up as a Pending Charge on my account.
You know, none of my comments would have never occurred had you been a little more generic with your comments. If you look at previous posts, I have never been rude to anyone and certainly did not deserve rude comments from you. For some reason you felt the need to judge my comments with all these other people in here making comments for themselves. Please understand it was not my intention to take it this far, but I feel your comments are totally out of line and unnecessary.
If a person is mad, disappointed, sad or whatever, I don't see how you speaking out and judging what was said influences them to have a different perspective.
Anyway, enough said on the matter. I hope you have a good day.

Ordered Oct 7, just got my shipping should be here on Wednesday!!! I don't understand how verizon is handling pre-orders. I was expecting it much later in October like the 27th i think they quoted me, esp reading this thread

Initially all I said to you directly was that you didn't truly preorder the device as you ordered after the release date. To be honest, I feel you've blown things way out of proportion with your initial reply and now this. You seem a little over sensitive about everything...I guess all of the waiting on a new iPhone has put you on edge.
I truly hope you receive your phone as soon as possible and it brings you happiness. Since you ordered on 9/25, I expect you will see progress very soon!
Johnny5 I appreciate the comments but I am not on edge as I've waiting this long without any problems, but I want to apologize for using the wrong terminology of the words ""PRE-ORDER" and from this point forward I will gladly use the expressed corrected term "ORDER" in order to avoid further conflict.
I feel it is not that important as most people on here understand that I am using a term that the stores web site, employee's and Verizon receipt illustrates. I'm not creating the term here. But, since it seems to offend you that I did not state pre-order for iPhone 5, I will acknowledge that I only "ordered" the iPhone 5 because the order was placed after the 21st of Sept.
My "order" was placed on the 25th of Sept with a shipping date of Oct 19th. Folks I stand corrected and apologize for any confusion lol. WOW

I actually had placed my order on Apples website on Oct 1. I then cancelled it on Oct 5 as I wanted to order from VZW instead. For some reason it took until the 10th for my upgrade to go back onto my verizon account. Then I ordered from VZW on the 11th.
Is it safe to assume that 16gb phones are being shipped 2 weeks from the order date? From what I'm reading that seems to be the case.
How do u figure that out its been 19 days since I ordered 3 16gbs and still nothing , no one here knows for sure the exact method Verizon is using to ship out these phones some people here are getting them in a week some going on 3 weeks but hey whatever makes u happy!
I wish that were so. My "order" date is Sept 25, and ship date 10/19. Still no update in status, no charges as of yet and it's suppose to arrived on Friday. I hope it will happen on time. 2 weeks from the order date I doubt it, but nothing wrong with being optimistic.
There are some other people in here with Sept order dates that are still waiting as well. 32gb and 64gb seem to be getting orders in a lot faster, and some are reporting small quantities of store stock. I would check the stores if you have a long wait. But the 16gb's are of extremely high demand.

So who has received a 16gb phone from Verizon in the past week and when did you order it?
My 16GB along with a 32GB is en route to be delivered on the 17th and I ordered on 9/22.
LOL, your a funny guy or girl! For someone who takes a term as serious as you do, seems to me your the one on edge and all jittery over this iPhone 5. It's a phone dude or dudett, not a paycheck lol!

Well my wait ended today. Saw that my iPhone was delivered to the store and went up there as soon as I got out of class. When he opened the drawer to get my phone I noticed some unclaimed iPhones and he said they did have some stock of 32's and 64's.
So the stores are beginning to get stock in!
I got my phone and it looked like 2 EXTREMELY small nicks that were perfectly round. I think I may be imagining things. I felt like this is the first phone that I watched be shipped all the way from Memphis so that kind of made me wanna keep it. The screen is awesome, camera takes awesome looking pictures even of the sun. It's so fast and the LTE screams.
I'm gonna keep it despite the tiny flaw. Its gonna be in an Otterbox or Lifeproof most of its life. Truthfully if I had not been on this website and seen that there had been issues with scratches and stuff I probably wouldn't have noticed.

hope so-- ordered 2 16GB 5's (one black, one white) on 10/7 with an estimated ship of 11/2..
"We have received your order and it is in processs" on both.
I just saw a few people who got their tracking information anywhere from 12-16 days from their order date, so I was averaging about 2 weeks.
I've heard companies are shipping based on regions along with order dates, so I know that not all iPhones are being shipped within the 2 weeks. It just seems to be an average from what I've seen.
My ship date is 10/26. Ordered 10/3. I'm more than willing to wait for people who ordered before me to get theirs.
Just wanted to see if anyone else noticed sonething similar.
Hope you get yours soon! Waiting is the worst.

If I had an extra $100 to just get the 32 I would. But coming up with the money for the 16 was a stretch, so I will just have to wait.

I ordered 10/3 with a 10/26 ship date. I have the same message. I keep checking all day hoping maybe something will change. So far, nothing. I ordered a 16gb black.

It's great to see these shipping before the quoted 26th. I ordered on the 12th, so hopefully mine will ship a bit early as well!
