Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Ugh, I think I am obsessing over these phones a bit too much!

I wonder how they are processing these orders?? Especially, since I have a lower order number than some of you, I live in Pittsburgh, so IDK if that makes a difference? My CC has already been charged too!

Just got a shipment email, however I show two orders so I don't know which one it is. I ordered two phones and two cases, and one order has shipped while the other still shows "ship by 09/21". Maybe just the accessories have shipped?

Do they show the same tracking number?

Just got a TEXT message from Verizon...

FREE VZW MSG- DO NOT REPLY: Iphone 5 order scheduled to deliver by Oct 5th.

No tracking information, nada.

Mind you, I ordered at 8am on Friday, got confirmation of 9/21. Guess who's the pissed off customer calling Verizon....? Me.

One has a tracking number (no info on the FedEx page, though). The other has no tracking number.

Same here, but I don't have access to my company's Verizon account info page. I've also tried the FedEx/UPS reference number tracking tricks without success. I've gotten nothing since the initial confirmation e-mail. I ordered at about 10 a.m. ET on the 14th and was given an estimated delivery date of 9/21.

Let me know if you get or see anything on yours and I will do the same.

Ordered via the VZW business website for a fellow employee right at preorder launch (midnight left coast), received the email confirmation, and still no change in the order status on VZW business website.

Not me. Just got the shipment email from Verizon with FedEx tracking number. FedEx tracking shows delivery Friday Sep. 21 by 3PM. My cc was charged yesterday afternoon.

Ordered 32gb Black with number ported from AT&T on launch day at 2:52AM Central. I am in deep South Texas.

What was your order location #? Mines W779401, and I've yet to get a tracking number, but have had the charge (not pre-auth) posted to my credit card since yesterday afternoon.

Hi all I ordered around 0730 est and still have nothing. See a
on the Amex for one dollar. Status is still we've received your order.... My expected delivery date is 9.21.

Did everyone who used Amex have the charge flagged as fraud? Trying too tell myself all will be ok but would feel so much better if I saw some movement.

Same here. Ordered at 12:30AM PT and charged it to AMEX. I can see the $1 pending charge on my AMEX but no tracking # and still says We've received your order... 32GB black.

I know that some location codes with D772001 have gone through the credit card chage, tracking info, etc.

Is there anyone else in the same boat with that locations.

FYI, I'm in Virginia.

Chase people; I have had issues with phone pre orders in the past with them throwing up a fraud alert. No one will bother to tell you this has happened, call chase and see if this is the case, and if not, tell them you know it's coming so they can unflag it. If they did flag it, tell them it's coming and then call verizon's internet order department and ask that they re-run it.

I paid with my Chase debit card, didn't get charged yet and I didn't get any fraud alerts. Am I ok or do I still have to call Chase?

It's not that I don't believe you, but find it hard to beleive. I have read where some people who orderd at 8:30 and 9 were already processed and ready to go. I ordered at 5:30 a.m. (EST) and have yet to have a movement yet, not so much as a hit on CC yet.
