My order status hasn't moved...I'm still pending shipment
Did you try the Fed Ex tracker like someone suggested? Did you call the bank or Verizon to make sure your order wasn't declined? If they are all okay, I wouldn't worry. I think they're goal is to get the phones to everyone at the same time +/- a day.

Did we know who it was that had that order? have they showed their faces on this forum at all lately? It says it was left at the front door, not accepted. They could not be home or something (I can't imagine being crazy enough to leave if you knew your phone was coming xD)
Called Discover again today and they don't see a charge, but they said they wouldn't question anything less than $1000. Then people here were saying it wouldn't charge unless it's shipped from warehouse. So hopefully I'm good there. My next step was going to be calling Verizon for like the 20,000,000th time today, but I really don't feel like bothering them. I feel like I have some crazy notes on my account right now so IDK. I'm going to wait it out a little longer. If I don't see a shipment confirmation on their site through email or over phone by a little later tonight (30+ hours after ordering), I'm going to cancel and order through apple next wednesday or thursday (to get the $699 price). :/
I don't know how accurate "won't charge until shipment" is. I received a shipment confirmation, but it's showing it hasn't been charged yet (says pending). Apparently some credit cards take a day or 2 to actually show transaction complete.
I used a debit card and it was showing as pending from yesterday up until a few minutes ago, it FINALLY went out of my bank account.
my fedex tracking was just updated and the order is now in transit and "left origin location" from Coatesville, PA! i live in new york! and it is coming on monday

How many others are still waiting for their order status to change from "We received your order and it is in process." to shipped?
I ordered at 2:55 a.m. but then canceled the order due to a credit card issue and reordered it at 2:30 p.m.
When I call 611 the automated system says that the order with refernce number 0000 was cancelled. Both my old and new order had reference numbers ending in 0000. I called a rep and she said the second order looked ok.
But now it's been almost 30 hours since the secodn order and no change in status or any pending charge on my cc.

Your own policy specifically states you won't charge my card until my order has shipped. My card has been charged. Its not listed as a pre-auth, its listed as a charge. And yet it's still not shipped =/

I talked with my Fedex guy today and was told that they are swamped with delivers because of the storm. They have to reattempt those deliveries so some of today's deliveries will be pushed to Saturday deliveries. Maybe you will get your tomorrow.

I am in the exact situation as you. And all I have found out is that the second order looks okay story. Frustrating!
Just joined because of this thread -- I received my shipping information this morning at like 6:00 A.M. I ordered at 2:59 A.M. from Verizon yesterday morning.
My package weighs 2 lbs and I got the 32GB iPhone 4 with a car charger accessory. Mine is coming from Memphis, TN to Indianapolis, IN and is set to deliver by 4:30 P.M. on Monday 2/7/11
