At 5pm it was posted that it was in Gaithersburg, MD. Spoke with UPS they said it was in the facility undergoing routine inspection. Now they took it off. Spoke with a nice guy at Verizon, who tried to call UPS and said no one answered (it is the end of the day), he said he put a note on the account for UPS to see that we can pick it up from the facility tomorrow. If that was bs or not...let's hope I can get it tomorrow!

I guess this has to do with those ship dates of Feb 10, 2011 that it was showing yesterday, and on the phone today.

Glad to know I'm not alone...Still holding out that the status will magically change tonight or overnight and get a shipping delivery of monday or tuesday

I have a feeling that they are going to make the business accounts wait till the 10th, regardless if they preordered. If that's the case then there may be a letter being written about misleading advertising when stating "first come first serve"

Did you find any resolution about this? I also ordered through MyBusiness, and had the order in at 3:18 am and it still says PRE...

Finally!!!! I got this same email. Wonder what it means?
 
I have had shipping companies seemingly pass around my package rather than have it delivered before the date it was promised. It just either sits in one location or goes from one hub to the next and back again. It is retarded.

Hiiiighly doubt it. can't remember if it was UPS or FedEx -- one of the two, not that it matters since both will probably say the same thing -- said that Verizon gave them strict orders that nobody would be allowed to come pick up the packages at the locations until a first delivery attempt was made. that would mean Monday for most of us. ):
 
Received my email confirmation at 6:30 tonight that my two phones have shipped. Fedex Tracking shows that it's currently in transit after leaving the Coatesville, PA branch. Estimated arrival is Monday at 3:00pm. Come on over to NY, baby! Daddy's waitin'!

ughhh not really fact that I want the phone now its just a MAJOR inconvenience to wait for monday because I have class monday, and I have a buyer for my crappy junk blackberry who needs it before the weekend is over otherwise lost sale. So because UPS is worthless screws up all my plans

that's rotten, really ): I have work on monday, but it's only from 11-2 (crappy shift, I know). however, even though it says only an indirect signature is required, I'm extremely hesitant to just leave a note saying to leave it at the door.. seriously, that's a few thousand dollars worth of awesome right there. I don't want it to freeze or get stolen D:

Torn right now. and also upset because it hasn't even shipped yet, so it could very well not get here til tuesday; in which case I will be a very very very unhappy camper, since I was right there with all of the first people ordering it.

It's because the order status page yesterday, and the phone message all day today was saying scheduled for shipping on Feb. 10. Whereas it was supposed to be saying scheduled for arrival on (or before) Feb. 10.
 
Finally got tracking info from VZW. Christ, that only took almost 2 days. Anyways fedex says Monday but I'll prolly just pick it up when it gets to the distribution warehouse.
 
just got the email from verizon about the incorrect shipping date.....hell my order status isn't even listed as having been shipped. I wonder if it was sent to calm those who were complaining about the original email saying that the phones would ship on 2/10.....

My 8:00 AM order only just got shipped, so assuming they're doing it in order of order placement, you've got a while to wait still. Sowwwy :D

The tracking # is different from the one that I got from Verizon but when you track it, it says Delivery Feb 5, 2011. The weight says .3lbs/1kg. Guess that would be too light for an Iphone. Anybody else get one of these? Is there anyway to look up who this is from. The only thing that I ordered is the Iphone!!
