Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

My Order No. is 34 (from Verizon) and it has changed to shipped, but with no tracking or carrier info. I ordered right at 2:48am EST.

I order about the same time in CST...what ACE number are you? I am 2339 and ..not shipped...

over at Big Reds forums there are people reporting 5 digital ace numbers are marked as shipped...WTF?
 
At this point it seems as though each location has a different system for both the ACE order #'s and the shipping status, and that unless you have a ship date, or a tracking #, you are in the same boat as everyone else!

My location code is same as yours. ACE # is 119XXXX. I had to cancel my order from last night at 3:00am and reorder this morning due putting in the wrong social and dl number (entered mine and not wife's). So it was around 9:10am when my second order went through. My ACE code on the 3am order was 1179XXX as well.

- I ordered the moment they went online just before 3AM.

- Immediately received the confirmation email.

- This morning my status changed to shipped, but no tracking number.

- Just got my tracking number now.

- Checked tracking online and it says delivers Fri 4th by 4PM

- Called into track it and the FedEx rep confirmed.

Oh, and in case you're wondering my initial order number was 16.

Looks like I'm going to have both my Verizon iPhone4 and AT&T iPhone 4 to compare. Just what I was hoping to accomplish. First hand experience.

Sounds like fun :)

To St. Louis: #283

Both are being shipped out of New Jersey

Do you anticipate high demand for iPhone 4?

Yes, iPhone 4 is expected to be in high demand. In the event that iPhone 4 is not available in stores after February 10, you can place your order in store and have the phone shipped directly to your billing address. Shipments will take place on a first come, first served basis. No billing will take place until shipments are made.

The above is from the vzw faq website and reinforces a common business practice of not charging for an item until it is shipped....

Soooo I'm happy mine says shipped....

long time reader, first time poster

Just curious if everyone's receipt has this "FEDEXSTDOVERNIGHT3PM" in it?

Fed Ex Standard Overnight 3pm.

Not sure if it means anything or if it was posted before.
