I hear ya! I am still in denial that my order was cancelled. I know I am so not getting mine on Monday but I keep thinking how awesome it would be if my order DID go through? LOL

My iPhone is literally 5 minutes from my house! I called UPS to see if I can pick it up and they transferred me to the facility line. Apparently they are closed to the public on Saturdays... gonna head over there anyway and see what happens.

i got through to my ups facility which IS open on saturdays. there is no way they will release it for you to pick it up until after they attempt 1 delivery (on monday). after that, you can call them to arrange to pick it up, have it delivered somewhere else or returned to sender (NO!!).
 

No, that isn't going to happen. Before, when that happened, the iphone was only available on at&t. Therefore, anyone upgrading was either a new customer or an at&t customer. However, now it's switching to verizon, and this pre-order was ONLY for existing verizon customers, specifically to "get an iphone before everyone else". Also, why in the HELL would they hold a pre-order for existing verizon customers, and then hold their shipment so they will get it on the 10th, when you can just order it on the 9th and get it on the 10th as well? how is that logical at all?
 
this sucks. my package has arrived at the local UPS customer care center, only 30 minutes away, and I can't do anything about it. gotta wait till monday since you can't change delivery options for pickup until after it has tried to deliver once.. sigh.

Call VZW and have them request a Delivery Intercept and then go pick it up!

i was thinking the same thing actually....sucks but makes monday come alot faster now, superbowl and then finally we get our hands on our devices....seems like everyone is monday or later though.
 
Well mine is still showing picked up in Memphis at 6am yesterday. What gives? It can't be weather, as the link somewhere in this thread showed live flights coming into Memphis all last night.

I could have drove to Memphis and back in this amount of time....grabbed an iphone, Elvis album and some blue suede shoes.

So, this is what mine says. As of yesterday evening, there was a pending charge showing up on my debit card. Yet now it's not there anymore.. what the heck?
 
Has anyone who's order tracking said "Picked up in Memphis" gotten an update indicating that it is now "In transit"?

Mine is like this still:

My problem is that Verizon will have my money for 5 days with out me having the product. Also, a next day air has turned into a 5 day delivery. It seems to me that Verizon wanted over $400 million to hold onto for as long as they could before any returns or exchanges happen. Verizon seems to have purposely held the shipments on their dock in order for this scenario to play out. It's not right.

Hi, I have been watching this thread since it was started. I ordered my iPhone at about 8:40 AM EST on Thursday. I have only gotten an automatic order confirmation since, NO shipping email, no NOTHING. and the "check your order status" page has been down for about 14 hours now. I have emailed Verizon but gotten no response. I have tried the tracking numbers generator but it didn't work.

Well this is ********. I was able to get FedEx to hold my package at the local hub for pickup, TO BAD ITS STUCK IN MEMPHIS STILL.

You do know that this was supposed to be a PREORDER right? You or any of us getting it before the 10th is a gift....

Thats the point of a preorder. You give them your money (for sometimes way longer than a measly 5 days) to hold an item for you for the release date...

It sucks we didnt get it yesterday but seriously, not a big deal. Monday is still a gift.

They said you'd have it by the 10th. They didn't guarantee earlier. Get over it.
