Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

Mine appeared to be working the previous day when everyone else was saying their's was down. So it must be split up among customers somehow?!
Well people it looks like regardless what we do its coming either monday or tuesday. If you were late pre ordering then you will get it tuesday or wednesday. If you were one of the ones that ordered 10 min before (me) till bout 3 hours after then it is coming on monday. Thats how it is theres nothing else bout it lol.
Cristin on what day did you order your phones?? It takes awhile to update info. The way i knew my order was good is when the charged my credit card and within 4 hours after that i got a confirmation email stating it has been shipped.

The order status window works for me, don't know if your comfortable with giving your last name though. I would just wait.
We ordered on the 3rd at like 7:30pm the confirmation email was received. The debit account has had the charge pending for over 4 hours, probably around 6pm last night it showed up, to my knowledge.
yes exactly the same situation......i called yesterday and spoke to a rep who did see both the original order (and it's cancellation) as well as the new order that seemed a-ok....
also there was a temp charge on my cc as of last night....so things seem ok so far....esp since my upgrade screen is greyed out on the my profile page.....
Alright we will keep playing the waiting game! I am not concerned about getting it early, Just wanting to make sure I do get it eventually! Don't like not knowing if $400 is in limbo or what! Will just keep waiting for delivery, very excited :]

Mine's coming via FedEx but I have seen pkgs. in the past go from Memphis or Indianapolis to Greensboro before hitting Clt. so you never know for sure.
Oh ok well ive been hearing that if you used a debit card it takes a little longer for transaction. But more or less you should be getting a confirmation email tonight sometime. You could also call verizon and ask the rep if they see a order placed on your account and they will let you know
Same here i live in NY and yesterday the ups site said my iphone was in poughkeepsie
and now it says its in PA what the heck!
It started back working for me right after I got the email with tracking info yesterday.

I had verizon authorize to hold my fedex shipment at my local store. i called up fedex and said i was leaving to go aboard for school monday and it was prudent i receive this package tomorrow. the fedex person was AWESOME and told me the exact location of the package. all west chester D771101 packages have left the verizon distribution center this afternoon and are in the process of being shipped to their final destinations. lucky for me, my package is certainly on its way to my local fedex store! fedex even agreed to call me by 8AM tomorrow to confirm pickup.
Where are the pics of your new phone? Its well past 8am...
They are likely doing that at most if not hubs because it could be a total nightmare to deal with. Especially in major cities
same here, although vzw 611 says shipped and ready for delivery in 2 business days .... wtf
Seriously, why would they let anyone pick up their phone early? Its like middle school when you ask the teacher to change your seat in class and she says "If I let you do it, I have to let everyone else do it." Plus, Verizon probably told them to hold all phones until Monday. You guys should stop worrying about your package, it will be here Monday. Lol this is like little kids on Christmas Eve.

Ditto for me, Yet friends that live 2 blocks from me and ordered after me got theirs already... Im calling Shenanigans.
Mine stayed at "picked up" for over 12 hours. Before that, it said "shipping info received" for over 12 hours. Just be patient. Fedex & UPS are usually pretty true to their estimated delivery date/time....given that VZW/Apple don't put a hold on the item and that the weather in your area doesn't interrupt service.
Status FINALLY updated
My FedEx status finally updated to "In Transit". You can imagine my frustrations, however, considering I actually LIVE in Memphis and my iPhone has been sitting here for days...and will continue to sit here until Monday. I guess I'm just happy to see an update.

It is more logical that they want those folks activate an out of the system to lessen server load on the 10th and help avoid the bad PR that ATT kept getting for launch day issues.
Especially since talk is that the orders could be as high as a million phones
