Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

I just got off the phone with VZW rep who said that their 3pm overnight shipping is being use. Any orders shipped before 3pm today should be received TOMORROW!! Congrats everyone who got one through!!

There are now reports of people getting tracking numbers via email. States that delivery on or before 3pm TOMORROW!!!

Source? If I got it tomorrow I would FLIP!!!

From my understanding we can activate the phone from home when it arrives. But has anyone ordered a phone before from Verizon and activated it themselves? What is the general process like?

You Dial *228, put in your phone number and the last 4 of your social. Takes a minute or two and its activated.

My AT&T preorder came from China so it took a few days to send. I would assume it is similar for the Verizon preorders. I am surprised by people who think these are being shipped from local places.

it is unlikly Verizon iphones would come direct from China as it is a national holiday in china starting today (Happy New Year). If i am not mistaken the celebration goes on for three weeks.

Out of curiosity I tried to pre-order through Apple...it tells me I am eligible to purchase one sometime in 2013...yeah. I paid full retail price through Verizon. Here's hoping I can get SOMETHING out of my nearly new Blackberry Bold 9650.

Is it possible to sell a million online from 10 til 3 AM to a little after 3 when I ordered mine? My order # is 7 digits, whereas the guys below have very low #s Of course my order # is from verizon. Did you get your # from Apple or verizon?

Yup I was pleased. Of course I haven't actually used the $100 off in a few years, but at least that meant I am currently eligible for upgrade.

I got hooked on Apple stuff a few months ago after getting an iPad, then I got an iMac and now I'm getting an iPhone. I'm going to love all the "synchronicity" between all my devices.

When I follow the link from the confirmation email and enter my reference # and name is says the order is not found. Anyone else having this problem?

Also is the ACE order number the same as the order # that was sent in the confirmation email?

When I upgraded to iPhone 4 (ATT) I activated it at home, online.
Only make sense in this day and time, no humans needed.
