No wonder I have confusion and trust issues.
I ask the rep:
Is the promotion tied to the phone number or IMEI?
They say tied to the IMEI and if that IMEI isn't associated with that phone number the promotion payments will end.
I then ask, what if the phone is damaged or lost and needs to be replaced?
They answer that if I have insurance the phone would be replaced and the promotion payments would continue.
Next I ask how that would work if the IMEI is now different?
They didn't understand
I was then able to speak to a supervisor who stated that the promotion is tied to the phone number and DPP. You can do whatever you want with the phone as low not as you you keep the DPP and phone number active, the credits will continue.
Again, all logical and what I thought....just so many seem to be getting different answers.
