Carrier [Verizon Shipping Thread] Anyone get confirmation of a Verizon shipment yet?

Bah, I just checked my tracking, and as I suspected, it made it to my local Fedex, but I see "Package not due for delivery" on the list. Gotta love yah FedEx. I figured as much, but it still sux.

I figure it is so that folks don't just buy the 2-day shipping knowing it will probably arrive in 1 day, making it harder to sell the one day shipping extra cost. You get EXACTLY what you pay for, no more, no less.

I am glad for the other folks who's FedEx decided to go ahead and deliver a day early. I am actually home today, so if they had done that, I would be set instead of waiting until Thursday to pick up at the FedEx location, but whatever. I am still getting a new iPhone this week!
 
I have no updates as of now and I received my Verizon order confirmation email at exactly 12:10 AM. LOL. I chatted with them an hour or two ago and they still told me it should ship today.

Ordered 16GB Gold 5S at 3:12AM EST on the 20th, received a confirmation email immediately after. Order has been showing "Expected Ship Date: 09/24/2013" ever since...

Just talked to customer service and was told that the new ship date is OCTOBER 14th! CSR claimed that the 16GB Gold model was in highest demand... I guess they ran out at some point between 3-312AM.. how annoying.

Still the infamous "We received your order and it is in process," but ship date of 9/24 here. Not sure I exactly believe the whole orders going out in the order they're received thing, since my conf. came in at 3:16 am on Friday. I did talk to a rep a couple hours ago on phone, and he said that shipments go out all hours of the day (said it was about 2:30 in the afternoon at that time out there, so presuming out West?), and said there could be a chance that FedEx may actually pick it up and have it on its way before VZW's system even updates. He said to expect a tracking number even late tonight or early tomorrow morning. Overall, basically made it sound like they don't know much more than we do. Allegedly.

Another poster on this page said that they told him that the new ship date was October 14th. He said that's for the gold one though.
 
Mine FINALLY left memphis for scheduled delivery tomorrow by 8PM. Is it flying out of Memphis or on a truck? If its on a truck it definitely won't be here by tomorrow.
 
Mine shipped out from Tennessee today at 4pm and I live in Los Angeles. I ordered at 12 on release day, it says delivery is tomorrow by 8.

That's what makes me nervous...ordered a 16 GB Gold and a 32 GB Space Gray, so am hoping there's the off chance I got in under the wire. Time will tell I guess.
 
I ordered silver my iPhone 5s 16GB from a verizon wireless store at approx. 4:00pm ET on 9/20. The whole time it's been so unorganized. The guy at the store originally didn't even know what to tell me for my shipping date. Finally he managed to come up with 10/7. Then hands me a receipt that clearly says 9/27.

I've been calling them, and chatting online constantly since all I can ever find is "We have received your order and it is in process. Estimated shipping date: 10/7" Every single person I talked to couldn't give me anything more than that for some reason. The credit card transaction went through early this morning.(9/24)

Finally, I called customer support. This time instead of transferring me to a rep I got the automated message "The order associated with this number has been delivered and activated." I called again to double check and heard the same message. Immediately I called the store I ordered it from to see if they had it, since they were supposed to call me. The guy told me they had not received any of their iPhone 5s's yet, but they were scheduled to come tomorrow. I then asked him if he knew if mine would be coming with that shipment. He asked my name and information and pulled up the files. Then says my shipping estimate was apparently 9/24, and that mine should be there tomorrow.

Of course I'm happy that it's coming earlier than all sources have stated. But why is it so ridiculously hard to find out anything about my order? The whole experience has been horrible and I should've just ordered straight from apple. Hopefully it does actually come tomorrow so this whole mess can just be over with.

When I spoke to them she sounded like she didn't know much more than we do either. She just said that it showed it would ship today. Hopefully we find out tonight. October 14th would be life-ending. LOL.
 
well i may not have such bad luck at all 64gb gold has finally been charged to the card, tracking number came through, and should be here thursday :cool:;):D:)

Long time lurker, but this is my first post. I ordered a 16gb gold from Verizon's site. Received a confirmation at 3:12 am stating that my order will ship by 9/24. As of 7:15 today, my credit card has not been charged nor has my order status changed. Called customer service and was told that the phones are on back order, and I will receive mine by October 14. I'm really pissed because NO ONE from Verizon contacted me to inform me that my phone would not be shipping. My contract has been up for about a month, and I used an upgrade to purchase the 5s. Really considering canceling my order and leaving Verizon after this...
 
Just ordered my 64GB iPhone 5s today (gray). Shipping date? October 28th.

Weep with me, laddies. Weep I say.
