Carrier [Verizon Shipping Thread] Anyone get confirmation of a Verizon shipment yet?

For me as well they were listed separately but with the same tracking number. 5S doesn't come with a Sim Tool (atl east not that I've found) so I haven't checked yet if it's in the phone.

My problem with this whole thing is when I called about the plan the put the phones on the guy said it would be best to switch the family contract now so I did. I lost my unlimited data and went to 8gb plan. I would have waited till october to do that for the next billing cycle. I can wait no problem, but I lost my unlimited data luxury and now am paying more for my plan.

Call them back and have them put everything back due to the extended wait times, in addition to reversing the upgrade fees.

Same except my case won't arrive till Monday. I'm starting to think FedEx is ran by trolls.

Got my e-mail about the delay. Mine is saying it is delayed till October 7th.

I opened a new thread about this mess.
 
A bit off topic, but didn't see the need to start a new thread.

If I walked into the Verizon store what are the chances of them selling me a gold 5s off contract. I realize I would have to order it and wait but thats not a big deal. Just want to know if they would sell me one.

My 5S is currently restoring my back up - mine came with a SIM Card already inside though. Do I have to switch the one from my 5 into this one? :confused: I've never done this before

My still says the same thing (9/24), but got the email last night about it now being shipped by 10/16. I'm hoping since I ordered ours early it won't take that long. 32 GB Space Gray and 16 GB Gold.
 
Since mine was pushed to "estimated" delivery of Oct 7, I'm just going to assume it will be pushed again. My local Best Buy has 3 Space Grey 16gb's in stock right now, I'm debating what I should do...wait it out or just grab the grey today. One thing that is making me not want to wait is I don't think I can take the lag on my iphone 4 running ios7 nor the increased battery drain.

Decisions, decisions. :confused:

You can change equipment online, you also need a SIM card for the line you want, I suggest just going to a verizon store and having them do it, I had them send me one when I swapped phones with my son and I still haven't received it (via mail)

Either one will work. Just destroy the other one AFTER it activates, just in case.

Can't I use the SIM card that it came with, with the line I'm switching it to? I heard you can activate it using the imei number or something.

I also have a SIM card from my galaxy s4.

Lucky! I have to wait til 8pm... The main office (were packages go when residents are not home) of my apartment complex closes at 6pm so I'm hoping I get it before then.
 
Currently restoring my 5S, since my back up made it as slow as my 5 :( I have to find some workaround this. I want to maintain a fast phone but I need my texts and pictures!

It's 2013 - you think there'd be a way to just restore texts and pics and not everything.

Mine was loaded on the truck at 7:49am CDT for an 8pm delivery today.

The FedEx guy that always delivers around here never attempts a personal delivery :( I'm sitting in my place waiting and I get an alert that it was delivered downstairs. I hate FedEx.
 
I decided to pull the trigger and get a gold 64GB for my girlfriend.

Ordered it 09/24, with estimated delivery before 11/04, so I should be expecting it around the time they announce the iPhone 6.

I'll post updates for those interested.
