Carrier [Verizon Shipping Thread] Anyone get confirmation of a Verizon shipment yet?

What one did you order? Starting to think my alleged delay has something to do with ordering the gold. I just don't understand how I could get my conf. at 3:16, have a ship date of 9/24, and now it's 10/16, when others practically have theirs already and ordered well after the fact. Verizon's logistics system is puzzling.
You must have missed the ten thousand threads talking about the Gold shortage. All online shipping from every other carrier has been moved back due to this shortage. I'm not surprised Verizon is pushing their times back as well.
Just based on the last few posts, it looks like if you didn't get your gold order in the first 15-20 minutes, your delivery times are being pushed back.

Since mine was pushed to "estimated" delivery of Oct 7, I'm just going to assume it will be pushed again. My local Best Buy has 3 Space Grey 16gb's in stock right now, I'm debating what I should do...wait it out or just grab the grey today. One thing that is making me not want to wait is I don't think I can take the lag on my iphone 4 running ios7 nor the increased battery drain.
Decisions, decisions.
Did you turn off every battery drain apps on your ip4? I did that on mine and I'm getting about the same drain if not slightly better than before the update. There's a thread in the iOS forum about how to do this.
Same here. $30 upgrade fee waived and 59.99 for my data plan both to be credited to my account after I receive the phone.

Got my 32GB silver 20 minutes ago. So simple to transfer from 5 to 5s. Just put my sim from the 5 into 5s and it was activated. Didn't even have to follow the instructions to activate LTE that came with the phone. If I would have used the sim that was included in phone then I would have had to do that. Restoring from itunes was a breeze. Now just waiting for my screen protector for front and back to arrive today from Amazon, and then I can take the protective screen covers off. Doesn't work so smoothly with those darn apple covers.

Woo! Mine was delivered. Can't wait to get home. So glad the release authorization worked haha.
I talked to VCS and they said it would be highly unlikely that those who were pushed back from 9/24 ship would not get their phones shipped on the new promise date of 10/7. She said this means that they have enough coming to cover everyone and we will probably get them sooner than that! I was about to snag a space grey from my local Best Buy but now I think I'll just wait it out.

Ah well, its rerouted to the Kinko's location that is open until 11PM tomorrow, so I am within 24 hours of getting my phone!
Finally got my 3 Gold today. Originally ordered at 3:04 AM Friday. This might be the most beautiful iPhone yet.
Just a data point here. I went on my wife's VZW account right at midnight to order her phone. Paid the full $849.99 price for a 64GB gold iPhone 5S. It shipped yesterday. Delivery tomorrow.
Guys, I just got my ip5s 16g gold! I missed it yesterday so I called FedEx to let them hold my it at a location and I picked it up today. Wonderful shopping experience! It is worth for me to wake up at 2:30am EST and ordered it ! Good luck for those still waiting.
