Carrier [Verizon Shipping Thread] Anyone get confirmation of a Verizon shipment yet?

I received mine around 1pm today.. Had some issues with activation.. and now I think everything is working!
I really love how easy it is to use the Touch ID sensor!! The Space Gray looks AMAZING as well.. so much better than the Slate on my outgoing iPhone 5!
Overall I think Verizon did a great job with shipping (I mean they could have delivered yesterday... but...) and Apple has impressed me yet again.. Definitely worth the upgrade this time around!

Ordered on launch morning around 4am. Got my shipping notice today, will be delivered Friday by 8pm via Fedex. Can't wait!
I ordered two 32GB Silver iPhones 5s in a Verizon retail store after they ran out on launch day (I was 18th in line... urgh). I was originally given an October 7 ship by date.
That ship date still appears at this link: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/orderstatus/OrderStatusForm

Does that mean anything?
Edit: Looks like there's also a $360 hold on my credit card. I guess this means the shipping date will be sooner than expected.

Well had a chance to check out the space grey and I think I like it better than the gold. With that, I canceled my order with verizon and picked up a 16gb at best buy. Next time I'll just wait in line at Bb, screw verizon.
Unless I'm mistaken - after 12:10am PDT iPhones went from "Ships in 1 to 3 days" to 7 - 10 days. So anyone who ordered after 12:10am won't get their iPhones 'til probably next week or the week after. Especially if you ordered a Gold iPhone.

I'm starting to think that's the case. My conf. email came in at 3:16 am EST, and while the original ship date got pushed from 9/24 to 10/16, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my 32 GB Space Gray and 16 GB Gold will go out in the next batch. Hopefully will ship from overseas in the next few days if it hasn't already. Wouldn't know since Verizon's site still gives it an expected ship date of 9/24

ordered 9/20 (64gb gold) with a ship date of 9/30. order status has been showing a "by oct 28" ship date but today my card has been charged and status has changed to processing. i'll be thrilled to not have to wait a month - local search has been hopeless.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if it might have more to do with the time you put the iPhone in your shopping cart, as long as you continued to check out with it, instead of the time of the confirmation email. Because with mine, I had the 32gb gold phone in my cart around 2:58am eastern, but it took me a long time to check out, because I was adding a line and having to choose a phone number exchange and going through a lot of screens with decisions to make, and I didn't end up finishing/getting the confirmation email until 3:16. But yet I got the phone yesterday. So it makes me think that maybe it has to do with the time you put it in your cart was your place in line, as well as which distribution center you're near and what phones they had at that distribution center.

Nice: the second Verizon tracking page (IconicSearchInit) just updated with a FedEx tracking number. Scheduled for delivery on 9/30 (originally promised to ship by 10/7). Not bad.
I placed my order at a Verizon retail store at about 9AM pacific on 9/20.
Nice, just curious cause I placed my order (one silver 16GB) not long after you so I'm hoping maybe mine will update sometime today with a tracking number as well.

Upon opening the cardboard box I found the iPhone 5s box, activation instructions, recycle bag and only one bubble wrap. ONE??!!! This thing has been rattling around on a truck from Memphis, TN to MD!!! I'm almost afraid to open it now and find the shattered remains of my iPhone.
Seriously Verizon? Run out of bubble wrap? Anyone else find their phone badly packaged? Now I'm stuck at a class again and don't even have a chance to take a peek. My Spegin tough cases doesn't come until tomorrow either.
