What is the source of this? I just got off the phone with Verizon and the rep had no knowledge of this.

This has been the case with everything Verizon (I've been a long time customer). At least in my experience.

I hope this gets added to the XL plans without me having to do anything.

Too bad they are the most expensive carrier.
Often not true, actually.

I've been with Verizon for about 14 years. Believe me I'm almost jumping up and down about this.

I pay for a 10GB data plan and use between 6-9GB per month. It would be great if the remainder carried. I also considering paying the $5.00/month and never worrying about overages again.

I am not as old of a customer as you, but I'm close to 10 years :). I also am very happy about this. We pay for the 18GB plan and we use about 6-10GB/mo. Same for the $5/mo overage - will be hopping on that.

If you're getting rollover and only use 6-9GB/mo. (or 6-10 out of 18) you can probably save yourself the $5/mo.

Unless I'm mistaken, the 18gb plan would not incur the $5 charge. It is simply included.

Edit: this has been. Covered.

Makes me even happier that I am a grandfathered unthrottled unlimited data holder.
Yeah, I don't use wifi, except at home and I don't care how much data I use...I'm paying a fair price for it after last year's rise in prices of ULD plans. But I don't think the total data usage on the plan ever exceeded 20gig for four lines.

Nothing on the website today - I tried to change my plan and nothing there either. :( I guess I'll have to be patient. lol

I'm still not seeing anything. I hope this is leak is true.
Assuming the original date mentioned by the rumor (as well as the rumor itself) was even right, it could just be something that has been pushed back a bit (like starting over the weekend, or perhaps on/around Independence Day).

It would be a dream come true so to speak for me and my wife regarding the safety mode. We have too many devices to switch at this point and providing it isn't extremely slow it would basically be unlimited data in a sense for us. I would be satisfied with 8mb. We really could use the unlimited data.

i have double data. I also have fios so my 18 gb was doubled to 36gb. I wonder if this new "plan" pertains to me also.

I used to be a Verizon corporate sales rep but left to get my Master's Degree. I miss that 50% off bill. It's no doubt they have the best service, I just don't like how expensive they are. I had Sprint three years ago and it was a disaster. I've heard they've improved though.

Discounts definitely help, but I'm paying less on Sprint with 3 phones with unlimited everything and no throttling than I would on AT&T and Verizon.

I get 25% off w/ Verizon and got 15% (or 10%, I don't remember) through Sprint. When I switched to Verizon with the 25% off, my bill was like $15 less, and at the time, Verizon offered unlimited data. I've seen switched to like 12 gigs shared between three lines.

I actually really liked Sprint and their customer service was awesome... but money talks and when my buddy told me about the deal Verizon had with the discount I jumped ship.

I've considered going back to Sprint but the cost is too high! Crazy, right? Not switching to Sprint from Verizon because of price... whodathunkit?! Hehe

I been with them all and T-Mobile has been the best to me. Glad I'm with them, they paid off my contract with AT&T thank God. On T-Mobile I get unlimited unthrottled data, unlimited hotspot, unlimited talk and text, free roaming, LTE is superb in my area, great coverage and super fast.

My bill is around $92 a month but well worth it. I use lots of data and my fingers are on my phone nonstop.

Verizon can keep the roll over causeme gots unlimited data... Verizon is evil

No, you don't. There are only two true unthrottled unlimited plans out there. The old Verizon plan and the iPad AT&T plan.

To ensure that we’re providing a great experience for our customers, customers who use more than 25 GB of data in a bill cycle will have their data usage de-prioritized compared to other customers for that bill cycle at times and locations when competing network demands occur, resulting in relatively slower speeds see t-mobile.com/OpenInternet for details.

unlimited hotspot

No, you don't.

You get around ~11 or so gb of hotspot data included.

Why must T-Mobile fans always exaggerate everything about their beloved carrier?
