I called FedEx to see if I can have the shipment pre-signed or held at a facility, and the rep told me they don’t have any information on the package besides the tracking. Said the recipient and sender have no address information so he couldn’t give me any information. He recommended I call Verizon to clear that up to make sure the shipment goes through. Anyone else experience this?
 
Probably that the ordered was processed today and you’ll start seeing tracking info soon.
Yea it's weird. I've never pre-ordered before. My card says amount authorized but it's dated for tomorrow? LOL I have never seen that before in my life.

ditto! I was an AT&T customer since the advent of the iPhone but this phone release I’m switching to Verizon. The final straw was that AT&T cancelled my iPhone 11 pro max order (for supposedly trying to help protect me from fraud when I am having it shipped to my billing address that has not changed, go figure) and I placed the order at 8AM EST on the 13th.

Well after being thoroughly pissed I was able to order the iPhone 11 Pro Max gold 256gb today was and amazingly I still have an estimated date of 9/20. Although my order is still processing my card just got charged so I’m happy that I didn’t stick around any longer with AT&T!!

I had that problem too. I had to forward it to my work Outlook to make the link work.
I talked to a Verizon rep who said my order was okay and that the email was not sent by them. I hope that’s the case and everything is fine with my payment. I never know how much these representatives really know.

That's what I get when I tried to update the stupid payment information for the pre order of the 11 Pro.

Very stupid since the only thing I have to pay are the taxes and my card was supposedly declined by my bank from being charged by Verizon . :mad:

This is so stupid. I tried using another card and the website doesn't want to update the information. So debit card from Chase not working and tried using a credit card and Verizon website doesn't take it.

I’ve had it happen to me once or twice. Just call in the morning and they can process your payment over the phone and update the order. If you’re using the same card you may want to call the credit card company to authorize the payment.

FYI...i saw my order was still in processing (ordered at 7am central on release date) and they said “due to a system error your order was cancelled”. I was very upset. They never even let me know. They said they would place an order and they completed a “jump the line” request. They are saying I have the same ship date but I’m a bit nervous about it. Double check y’alls orders!!

So does your new order show launch day delivery? My order had to be rebuilt, but they told me I would still get it on release day, as they put in a jump the line request. My order shows a 10/9 delivery now. Pretty sure I won't get it on release date, although they did tell me it would show the 10/09 date.
 
I haven’t seen many people get charged for iPhone 11 pro max. Has anyone else been charged tonight?
 
Yea I used Apple Pay this year and wasn’t aware of last years problems. Got an email Saturday mid day saying my payment was declined. Of course I don’t see it till super late Saturday. Sunday morning I called and got the whole thing sorted out. They are still saying I will get it on 9/20. I called again today to double check and they assured me it will. I’m still processing tho.

I used Apple Pay and have all kinds of problems, as the payment didn't go through. My order got locked and when I called I was told they couldn't push the order through, and they needed to rebuild a new order. So now I have a 10/09 delivery instead of 9/20. They told me they would put in a jump the line request, but I'm extremely doubtful. Needless to say, I am not happy.

Hoping for some Apple store stock on release day.

Mine was definitely sent by Verizon, because the payment I made showed up in my payment history in the Verizon app. I bet in your case they just figured it out by the time you called.

I had the same problem and called. They were not able to process the payment, because they said the order was locked. They even transferred me to core, and I spent over an hour on the phone with them. Ending up having to do a new order.

I had almost the exact same thing happen today. My tracking has said “At Local Fedex Facility” for 2 days...but the facility it’s at is on the other side of the country (NJ, I’m in AZ). I called Fedex and they told me the only info on the package was the State and zip code and that I needed to contact Verizon. After speaking with a Verizon rep and explaining the situation, they called Fedex with me on the line and were told the address is fine and it’s not at a facility local to me, just a place where some Verizon orders are being held until they ship to us on Thursday for Friday delivery. Hopefully it’s just a lack of knowledge on the Fedex reps part!

First time pre-ordering through Verizon that my phone has shipped via UPS.

I got the same text and my order went from pending to processing in the app. I ordered a MG 11pro max 256 within the first 10 min of the preordering day.
 
Went through the whole ordering process, got a confirmation number but no email. Verizon is telling me my order payment did not go through. But there was not a payment due, it was going to be billed to my account.


Well, the craziest thing just happened! My order not only just showed up in the Verizon app, it also shows shipped!!!! I have reserved a pickup window at Apple. Looks like I will have a choice of pro and max this year in green.
