Carrier Verizon Wireless 2019 iPhone Pre-Order Thread

Here's hoping that someone in the FedEx shipping chain doesn't help themselves to my phone again and they deliver an empty box like last year :rolleyes:

Huh, I didn't know they had a west coast hub. I'm in Washington State and since living here they've always routed mine through facilities in the east. Weird.

It’s for UPS deliveries. The past 4 years it’s been from Fedex only.

I have had tracking info most of this week but still no movement. I show a delivery for tomorrow however, last year I was able to change it to hold at a UPS store. I don't have that choice, only choice I have is to change the address to a neighbor only.

I'm in Florida and the shipment shows coming from Fresno, CA. Any others with this same scenario? Shipment is called Fresno Special.

I don't want to sit home all day tomorrow, anybody have luck getting an address change through UPS or Verizon?

I ordered the 11 in Black, 128gb. Order went through at 9am EST on pre-order day.

My tracking status still shows "Ready for UPS" and the only option I have it to change it to deliver to a neighbor as well. I'm wondering if once the status changes to "In Transit" if more delivery options will become available?

Is Fed ex still allowing a form to be signed to be left there if you aren’t home? I read on reddit that UPS is not allowing that this year, but haven’t heard anything about Fed ex? I have to leave around 3:30pm and now its saying it will be delivered before 8pm. Not sure what to do. My entire family will be gone to a concert.

You can’t Apple makes carriers attempt delivery first before anything can be changed or held

I doubt someone on reddit can speak for a corporate company. I’ve left a hand written note before with the tracking number and never had an issue

I have the option on my shipment to pre-sign. I would imagine they would leave it if you leave the release form on your door.

I was able to change it last year when I ordered from Verizon.

So far I don't see anything in my FedEx shipment for this. I did fill mine out last year.

I figured you might be able to because the option is available to change pickup to a UPS store for my Apple Watch shipment from Apple.

My new order still says processing :/
Did it yesterday afternoon so I don’t know if all is well
but on the site it says by October 9 delivery and says processing

what can I do to get it changed to tomorrow or Monday ? Without having to talk on the phone.
 
So I got notification yesterday morning at 7am that my item has shipped. Since then when I track it, it says "Shipment Ready for UPS". I feel like its been lost somewhere.
