Carrier Verizon Wireless 2019 iPhone Pre-Order Thread

So has anyone's phone actually left a shioping facility? I got a tracking number Wednesday but I still don't have any idea where it's even shipping from.

I could be wrong but I would be cautious of contacting Verizon too often as at some point a rep may just do something stupid and wipe out your order. It has happened here before. If you have tracking and are just waiting on the next scan you should be okay.

I have 3 phones coming. Two from UPS and one from FedEx. I have had tracking for a few days but it was just a little while ago they received their initial scans at the local facility and changed from "Label Created" to "Shipping" status.

Excellent to hear. What about official work on letters for no signature required or change of delivery address? If it's questionable that they leave the phone at the house then I'd like to change delivery to my work which is practically just down the road. When is it safe to do so?
 
Is anyone else still seeing "Shipment ready for UPS"? Have had great luck in the past but usually have some sort of shipping confirmation from carrier by now. VZ still says it shipped 9/19; expected delivery 9/20.

I wish I could tell you a for sure answer on that one. In my work for the last 20 years I ship hundreds of boxes a day overnight via UPS and FedEx and require signatures. In most cases one delivery attempt was required before an address change can be made (this is up to the carrier, not the shipper) or in some cases you could make the address change but it would likely delay delivery by one day. You would probably have better luck using a signature release than changing an address.

Mine's in Memphis too but my delivery says "by 8:00pm"... Problem is that my FedEx local facility closes at 6pm. I gave them instructions on my FedEx account to leave it in the Main Office for my building so I can pick it up there after work. I'm also leaving a note by the door so they won't miss this instruction.

I'm hoping they'll follow these requests though
 
My watch had been waiting for shipment since Tuesday, phone had been waiting for shipment since Wednesday. My watch was scanned by UPS this morning and phone was scanned about 40 minutes ago.

I do not see much reason to worry about still be on waiting for shipment yet, probably wouldn't unless I woke up tomorrow morning without the package being scanned yet. IIRC, last year I went to bed on Thursday thinking my phone wouldn't be delivered as it was still on processing with VZW but I woke up Friday morning to tracking for delivery that day.

Mine finally moved from PA to Memphis overnight. Fedex says scheduled deliver by 8pm but usually fedex comes everyday around the same time so for those wondering, you’re more likely to get it earlier on in the day depending on their route.
 
I would say to everyone who has any kind of tracking info or notice of shipment or waiting for shipment or anything like that -- you are 100% fine! These are shipped overnight. They always hold back to deliver until Fri per Apple's requirements. They will deliver your phone to you tomorrow no matter where it is currently. I've been doing this, although only once so far with VZW, every year for as long as I can remember -- or rather since the last time I waited in line for a phone which I think was 3GS.

My iPhone 11 pro max midnight green 256gb is coming via UPS and shipping information just changed. Says In transit and to be delivered on 9/20 by the end of the day...hopefully a time will pop up later.

Got notice from UPS that my label created and my phone was in Fresno, Ca.
Last night it went to Louisville Ky :rolleyes:. I may be missing something but that seems father away to me o_O
 
My card hasn’t be charged yet
Is that normal ? Verizon cancel mine yesterday and I put in credit card for yesterday but today I have no charge at all and same amount of credit available ? So is something wrong ?
 
QQ - I currently have Verizon on the eSIM in my XS Max. I want to do the same for the 11 Pro Max when it comes. I’m sure I’m going to have a fun time with Verizon getting this set up.

Is Verizon doing anything to get this working online or will I have to call in? Haven’t seen anything posted on Verizon’s site yet.

I imagine calling in may be the only way to get set up again, but wanted to ask here in case anyone else knew differently.
 
After a whole week of “Ready for UPS” my tracking number finally updated to “In Transit”.

I read some people called Verizon because their tracking status wouldn’t change from ready for ups and their orders were “considered” to be lost and therefore canceled. Sometimes it’s better off not to call. I’m sure those orders were just fine.

My daughters iPhone 11 left PA and arrived in Memphis at about 2:22 this morning. It is headed to CA, so I suspect it will be leaving Memphis sometime tonight.

I am in the Binghamton area — lets hope we see movement, since mine is STILL sitting in Elizabeth, NJ which is starting to worry me. Have you seen any movement with your order?
