I was able to pre-sign with UPS, did that just in case I end up missing the delivery today for some reason
 
well this is fun.... woke up to DELAYED as status. After a call to UPS, the inbound plane had mechanical issues. They are working to redirect everything. No time given and no option to pick up at a depot or anywhere, since VZ puts the restriction of must attempt a delivery first... fun times. oh well. it.is.just.a.phone....
 
Now we’re all going to complain that are phones are in our state but not out for delivery lol.

I’m only saying this cause it’s still in my local facility 15 min away 😔

Exactly, mine finally moved from Newark to Pittsburgh and hasn't been updated since it got there at 5am. I am three hours from Pittsburgh :(
 
Well my 11 Pro 64 Space Gray will deliver today and I’ll try to find a Verizon store to exchange for a regular 11. I did not know that the OLED dismay used PWM.

I ordered an 11 Pro 64 Silver st the same time for my wife, but it has not shipped.
 
Welp, those €#@%suckers at Verizon have screwed me for the last time. Promised a delivery date of today multiple times over email and the phone and now all of the sudden say there was an issue with my payment details, and reprocessing my order means my phone won’t deliver for another few weeks. Keep in mind that they had no issues processing my monthly bill payment a few days ago.

AT&T here I come.

I set a confirmed delivery window on my phone shipment to a time I will be home after work. Hopefully they don't try and deliver it sooner. I've never used the delivery window option in the past.

Wish I was able to change delivery to a nearby UPS customer center like I was able to do with my watch from Apple as that is already ready for pickup.
 
My order email says delivery by 9/20, but here I sit with nothing. No movement at all, still processing. Ordered around 10:30am on the 13th. Status still says 9/27 ship date, 11 Pro 64gb MG. No soup for me I guess 😒

Oh cool! My UPS has a feature called 'Follow My Delivery' that lets me see where the truck (with my phone on board) is on a map. 👍

Today is the BIG day!!! Christmas in September!! Woot!

As for me, after a good night’s sleep, I called my bank to verify that yes, I’m trying to make this larger than usual purchase. Cleared the verification. All good on that side.

Called Verizon and was told I needed to cancel the order and start over..... deep breaths.... deeper breaths still........... I asked to be transferred over to CC since they were the ones who placed my order originally and I have a certain setup I didn’t want to lose.

Get to CC and she first tries to process the payment through the same link. Then she can’t see my order details. Notes are confusing. She asks if I want to do another order..... Deep breaths..... deep, deeeeep breaths...... I reply, yes, through Apple. Not doing a 3rd order with you guys, especially if you can’t see the current order. Not getting double charged.

So she says she will try a “different, older system” to see what happens there. Lo and behold, she is able to take my payment. I see the actual pending charge in my bank transactions details. I’m now just that fast in “Processing - getting order ready to ship” on the app (wasn’t there before, just on the website and it just said Processing). My due to deliver date has disappeared though. Waiting for a confirmation email - she said there may be a delay in receiving it.

EDIT - I can no longer cancel my order through the app and my new billing details are already showing.

Verizon may need to go back to whatever “older system” they had before.

Saga continues...

So I just got off the phone with verizon order support. I pre-ordered on the 13th. On the 15th I received an email stating that my payment method failed. I am not in the habit of replying to emails like that without talking to someone first so the next business day I called verizon. I was told by Verizon support to disregard that email, everything is fine and my order should ship on the 19th. Well, this morning my order was still pending. I called them again. Verizon told me that my payment failed on the 15th and they sent me an email and that I never responded. I straightened everything out and now I should get my “pre-ordered” phone sometime mid-next week. My complaint is that they told me to disregard that email.

Every new phone launch has been a nightmare with verizon. I wonder is it any different with the other big companies?
