Meanwhile, AngerFi, which promises full bars regardless of location, requires only a one-time payment, and is based on the same breakthrough tech as AT&T's 5GE, doesn't warrant an article of its own apparently.

My AngerFi phone has 7G.

AngerFi is fast. It's not just fast. It's blazingly fast.

It's so fast that last week when I went to put my AngerFi phone back into my nylon shorts after surfing the net melted my shorts. I've started wearing asbestos shorts now when I use my AngerFi phone.

  • Both Cancer.gov & The American Cancer Society openly and repeatedly state that fears are not proven and there is no correlation or causation between 5G and cancer.
  • "The protests are happening even though there’s next to no scientific evidence that 5G, or any earlier wireless technology, causes cancer or other illnesses. There’s 'very little evidence' that cell towers cause cancer, according to the American Cancer Society. The Federal Communications Commission has ruled that cellphone tower broadcasts are 'thousands of times below safety limits.' The World Health Organization says that 'current evidence does not confirm the existence of any health consequences from exposure to low-level electromagnetic fields.'" The Daily Beast
Depends who's on the FCC's payroll. This is business. Of course they don't want to expose the truth.

There's a crap load of evidence proving cell phone radiation exposure is bad. Ignoring this is foolish. It varies based on frequency type, exposure time, proximity to cell tower, etc. The problem with 5G specifically is that you will be getting bombarded with EMF due to how bad the range is (meaning the 5G "boxes" will be crammed throughout neighborhoods in order to facilitate reliable 5G).

My thoughts exactly.

I don't think the masses realize just how detrimental to their health 5G networks are. Proven scientifically and not openly discussed for obvious reasons.

Source(s) please.

Two decent looking, extremely affordable phones, with 5G, maybe available two years before the iPhone gets it. All because they have a beef with Qualcomm and will rely on the same company for 5G that has been failing to deliver the chips they planned their entire super thin MacBook line around.
I wouldn’t worry about it, Verizon can’t even roll it out to their stores much less anywhere you’ll be. It’s going to take 3-5 years to get any significant coverage. Besides, the US carriers are deploying 5G mostly as fixed wireless, to compete with cable companies for home internet access.

Apple will never again use Qualcomm’s chips, that ship has sailed. They’re developing their own silicon and will use Intel until their own baseband chips are ready, which could easily take 5 years. If you want Qualcomm, you’re going to have to switch to some android phone.

There aren’t two decent looking, extremely affordable phones mentioned in the article btw, that’s one $250 phone plus a $200 optional accessory. So $450 for one phone. I’d rather have a new iPhone 6S for that price.

As to the smog most people breathe in? The food they eat? The alcohol they consume?

I don't understand how people can just ignore this stuff.
https://www.naturalhealth365.com/cell-tower-5g-cancer-2928.html

Because of sources like "naturalhealth365".. Why yes I would love a book about which vitamin kills viruses!! And while you're at it tell me about those 4 parents claiming a cell phone tower caused cancer in their kids with no evidence what so ever!. Forget about other compounding factors like water and air quality...

That is why we don't listen.

I wouldn’t be so smug if I were you. That study used “much higher levels of cell phone radiofrequency (RF) radiation”. (Much higher than the maximum power allowed by the FCC if you were one inch from the cellphone tower antenna.)

It’s meaningless.

What’s foolish is falling for the crap these conspiracy websites are pushing.

I read the peer-review and don't see it as dire evidence as you do. One phrase repeated often was "equivocal evidence", indicating that there was some disagreement about the quality of the research procedures. But it is something that needs further study.

So what can we do about it? It's not just cell towers or 5G. Most of us have devices at home broadcasting 2.5GHz. We should be aware of the dangers but there are so many things waiting to kill us (climate change, resistant microorganisms, plastic pollution) that focusing on RF alone would be shortsighted.

Verizon today announced it has turned on its commercial 5G network, starting in select areas of Minneapolis and Chicago. Verizon had originally targeted an April 11 launch, so the rollout is a week ahead of schedule.

5g-verizon.jpg

Verizon customers can access the 5G network with the Moto Z3 smartphone paired with the 5G-enabled Moto Mod accessory, providing the "world's first commercial 5G mobile service with a 5G-enabled smartphone." The carrier plans to expand the network to more than 30 cities across the U.S. by the end of 2019.

Verizon says customers in Chicago and Minneapolis should expect typical download speeds of 450 Mbps, with peak speeds of nearly 1 Gbps and latency less than 30 milliseconds. Of course, speeds should improve with future upgrades.

In Chicago, 5G coverage is concentrated in areas of the West Loop and the South Loop, around landmarks like Union Station, Willis Tower, The Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, and The Chicago Theatre, according to Verizon. 5G service is also available at select Verizon stores in the city.

In Minneapolis, service is concentrated in the downtown area, as well as inside and around U.S. Bank Stadium. 5G service is also available around landmarks like the Minneapolis Convention Center, the Minneapolis Central Library, the Mill City Museum, Target Center, The Commons, and areas of Elliot Park.

The Moto Z3 retails for $240, or 24 monthly payments of $10, while the 5G Moto Mod is available for $199.99 for a limited time. Verizon postpaid customers with any unlimited plan, including Go Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited, or Above Unlimited, can get unlimited 5G data for an additional $10 per month.

As for the first 5G-enabled iPhone, UBS analyst Timothy Arcuri recently said there is "increasing potential that Apple may not be able to ship a 5G iPhone for 2020" due to the company's legal battle with chipmaker Qualcomm and the growing possibility that Intel may not have a 5G modem ready to ship by next year.

Thanks for the clarification on the total package and price. I still think it’s a threat for Apple. And for those of us located overseas (Japan in my case) with access to phones not sold in the US, and governments more focused on the issue, I’d definitely say not producing a 5G phone until 2021 would be a serious mistake for Apple.

Laboratory mice get cancer when you experiment on them. It's their little joke on humanity. Wanna know the truth about what causes cancer? Experiment on yourself!

Yep. My daughter is a cancer researcher. She says they have cured many cancers multiple times in mice. But getting that cure to work in a human is a considerably more difficult task.

Definitely too late as competitors will be using it as a great selling point and seen the possibilities, it definitely is.
Another reason I feel Apple is falling behind, but fanboys here will attack me...even though I’ve been a fanboy since I discovered Apple in high school. For me, I guess it just makes it easier to save money and switch to T-Mobile since I’m not in a rush to have 5G. Haha. Granted, it’s nit Apple’s fault entirely. I don’t care much for Qualcomm and the stuff they’ve done to push Apple to retaliating against them.

Interesting. I have had speeds on my LTE network through At@t at home at around 40mbps down.

Now I’m getting 5Ge and I consistently get 150mbps down. Fake or not. There is a huge difference.

Anyone with LTE Advanced gets the same speeds as you. AT&T is the only one marketing LTE Advanced as “5G” and adding an e to the end in hopes of tricking customers like you. 450mbs at a minimum and up to 1gbps is WAY better.

And it’s REAL 5G, not fake
Nah, it is some proprietary, intermediate thing, having not that much to do with the 5G standard.
Seemingly quite high latency (in the 30 ms area, compared to sub 1 ms which is the goal for "real" 5G), and they will migrate away from this when the real thing comes.

This is the real thing. The proprietary 5G was only for their Home 5G users, which is only available in Houston, Sacramento, Indianapolis, and Los Angeles. What they launched today was the real 5G that was supposed to launch in the 11. It says it in the article and on their website.
