Still hate those visible antenna lines. So ugly.
Jony Ive's is less active in the design role. He oversees and gives input but the design is now lead by two guys. But how do you hate iPhone 7's rumored design more than iPhone 6 and 6s?
It's just the shadow. The screenshot you have is pretty dark compared to something like this, where you have some light.

I have said it before and I will say it again, Tim Cook has outlived his term as CEO. Apple has stagnated
Yeah, I'm thinking they will have to talk about pictures a lot during the presentation. Like they went on and on about iMessage at WWDC. Even the mention of (maybe) improved battery life or lightning earbuds should take 5 seconds. There is nothing to discuss here.
I've had almost every iPhone since the original and have always appreciated the design, but the wheels of the design wagon fell off starting with the iPhone 6 and later. I handled a galaxy s7/edge this weekend and wow, that is one nice piece of hardware/design. How come Samsung, Motorola, hauwei, LG etc can put together a phone with premium materials without obvious, ugly antenna lines and still get good reception?

Apple should make both space gray and the possible space black have black antenna lines.
The problem is Apple doesn't have the design chops and attention to the smallest detail like they used to. Renders only keep us hoping until Apple disappoints us again. Look at the HTC One M8 in both gold and gunmetal. Both had black antenna lines. Looked much better than the white. Oh well. Function over fashion for me first. Apple could make the iPhone 7 and 7 Pro a little better looking, but I would rather have features over trivial cosmetic details.

Is it just not possible to better color match the antenna lines? It seems like all the OEM's have the not matching bands.

You are not the only one. While's Steve aesthetic taste is not unique, the guy knew exactly how to vet indecisiveness and agreement by group out of a design process. Regularly get rid of the people that spend too much time listening and appeasing to others instead of doing something great.
I wonder if Apple knows how much the interested public hates the design of this phone (and the previous one) or their ego and hubris is so large they have convinced themselves it's amazing and that's why they 95% replicated it for this version.
