Exactly, all logical reasoning suggests that this is a fake. I mean if all he's doing is showing us the outside, then why would he include showing every side of the box except for the underside? The only reason I can think of is that then he would have to show us a close up of the bar code, model number, and other info that would be easily proven as fake info. If he just didn't want to show his serial number on the bottom then he would've just covered it over with black electrical tape so we could see all the rest of the printed info which would've given his video MUCH more credence. So if he's showing us all sides of the machine to prove that it's real except for the side that would be by far the most credible evidence that it's real, then that highly suggests that this is fake.

Unless the bottom has some kind of identifier that he doesn't want linking it back to him. Just saying. Also, did he say it was a working prototype? I kn ow I could RTFA, but I'm not.

man it would be tough to edit it especially when its moving... could it be a plastic cover? show us plugging in a thumb drive to all of them, boot it up, and have it recognize the usb each time, and from both display connectors, call apple legal and have them ask to have it taken down, then i will believe it.

5 USB ports makes sense if you consider 1 will be taken up by the new Cinema Display. Then you have an even number like the current mini.

hmm...

Well, the video makes it a little more believable, but I dont know. Like stated above, why wouldn't the guy give us a total view of the product (bottom)? Maybe its hollow, or maybe it shows where the guy cut in to add the extra stuff.

About the white and black thing, I really like white. I think it makes the product look clean and I really do like the current Mini design. But, as much as I like white, I really want to see a redesign.

Apple's done with plastic. Apple's done with white. Apple's done with firewire. (you know what I mean by that one)

So, that makes this hard to believe that Apple would keep the same product for another year. (or two:p)

Well it has some re-design, its round edged on the top...maybe its real, or this guy has way too much time to waste some nice skills. But I dont understand why they would keep the white apple top, it´s outdated...unless it now can be used as a lamp too :) eeeyh!?
Now, I really don´t care about the puny mini anyway, I wanna see some fake specs/photos/video of an iMac ? - give me hope please!

Prototype

This is most likley a prototype model of something along the lines of the white mac books, i would be surprised if this works fully. If it is a prototype some heads are gonna roll at Apple!

Give photos, or it it's a fake.

Err, uh, post a video or it's not real.

Um, bring to my house a three-dimensional hologram with tactile resistance, or it never happened.

Guess it never happened.

An... Apple consumer media center... Just like the Apple TV is, but with more features because its creator was too optimistic.

wow, this is like 4 years old ?
http://theappleblog.com/2005/04/01/apple-to-release-home-media-center-ihome/
450 gig hard drive.
1.5 GHz G5
2GB of RAM (upgradeable to 6GB)
SuperDrive (can burn DVD’s in real time)
Component, composite, S-Video, DVI, and HDMI inputs and outputs.
5.1 Digital audio output
Firewire
USB 2
Airport Extreme
AM/FM Tuning
The base price for iHome will be approximately $1,500

yeah, I'd call that optimistic for that long ago, we'd be lucky if that was a possibility today
in a perfect world, there would be a machine that combines the mini with AppleTV ... but with 500gb / 1tb HDD options, a DVR, a tuner, etc..
putting little 160gb HDD's in these things is ridiculous

lol. I think this guy posted a video to prove to everyone it's not fake. There is a good point about plugging it in though. Maybe it runs Snow Leopard? hu hu.

Or maybe a 12 USB prot MM is coming....
From 9to5.
(I'm just having fun. But if the leaker wants to post a boot up video with the use of the USBs....)

No firewire!?!

it's steve's

I believe it's a real object does it work???

If I had to guess I'd say this is Steve showing us what he uses.:D j/k

Possibly a tactic by apple to let us know they are doing something just to tease us for another year (or two).

I somehow can't see them keeping so much white on the mini after moving away from it in other products...
