Because it's Apple I am sure someone will have it displayed in some art gallery because of the 'oh look at's it's shape, it's lines, it'c curves, it's pure art at the highest level' and people will be charged $60 entry fee just to look at the marvellous wonder

Apple actually did a good job on designing this mask. It looks like a greatly improved fit over typical surgical masks, which means less airborne particles leaking out around it, which means it is much safer for those around you. Most of the masks readily available that are made out of cloth are total garbage because they were designed and sewn by people who know absolutely nothing about face masks...
Except they did this backwards with the "wonderful" butterfly keyboard. How did that happen

This is not Apples new take on mask. This is a standard design, on the market for 100 years... it's called a "fold flat".
3M and other companies are selling them.

Anywhere I can buy a "flat fold" N95 mask in the US? Can't seem to find any except on 3M's site available for large volume order only.

I don't see staples and rubber bands on Apples version, also does it connect in the back to keep pressure off the ears? Just because they are similar doesn't mean that they are the same design. Its like saying every multitouch smart phone is RUBISH because Apple made the first one.

All the epidemiological experts say wearing masks is one of the best ways to fight the spread of the pandemic. Funny that you don’t see mass rebellion against mask wearing in other countries. So you're saying its ok for me to walk nude through a mall even if the government says it's not ok? A mask is just a piece of clothing and being required to wear one is just dress code, which is not a freedom mentioned in any constitution.

Here, we have the freedom of choice. And nobody gets mocked on either side for their choice.

Similarly, retailers and malls are free to set policies when you voluntarily enter their private premises and refuse you entry.
"Best way possible" sounds like a participation ribbon. Apple's products are notable when they are an improvement. How, exactly, is Apple's mask superior to the 3M Aura mask?
It is not -- if only for the reason that Apple's design is not a retail product.
