Did you upload directly to YouTube from your phone??

You have to download to a computer and then upload if you want 720p...without an extra app that is...

Oh, that explains it, kinda of a bummer though, but ok I'll do it that way then. Have to run home and get my laptop now.

I just tried it myself for the first time...video/pictures were shot and edited in about 5 minutes. Upload to YouTube in HD didn't take that long (but my video is short).

I haven't had a chance to try this yet, but if a picture is used in iMovie at the end of the video, there doesn't seem to be a way to add a transition at the end....heck, I'm not even sure if you can do it if a video clip is at the end of the strip...I hate the way it just cuts off at the end...would rather have it fade out.

You're correct; I noticed that too. For some reason, there doesn't appear to be any way to add a fade in or out to the beginning or end of a video. I'm hoping in a future update that Apple will add a transition button allowing us to drag and drop to anywhere we want in the timeline.

BTW, nice video. I like your use of the sun transition.

some of you guys should really use vimeo instead of youtube, much better quality

While I agree with this (and I love vimeo), they only allow you to upload one HD video a week with the free version. I'm going to get the pay version this week, but it's 60 bucks, and everyone might not have that. If you don't, I think youtube is probably the best way to go..
