Don't know if any of you are into the art toy scene at all, but, today I had a signing with other artists of the forthcoming, limited edition version of the "Art-Toys: Photographs by Brian McCarty" book, so of course, an opportunity to break out the iPhone 4! (I mixed it up this time with both portrait and landscape modes.)

Some of the other artists (besides myself) signing and in the video were Gary Baseman, Luke Chueh, Mark Ryden, Michelle Valigura, Amanda Visell and Yoskay Yamamoto (artists who signed earlier but I missed were Tim Biskup, Frank Kozik, MARS-1 and a few others.)

Happy Fun Time.

Not sure if this counts, but I shot this video and took some pics with my iP4 yesterday. Then edited in iMovie (on MBP not iPhone). Anyways, check it out...

Keep At It

I agree! Well done. Very nice video. I just got iMovie for iPhone and am having trouble figuring it out.

Thanks for the positive feedback. After the fact I googled and watched a few instructional youtube videos on how to edit which definitely helped. Aside from that just go shoot as much video and stills as you can and play around with putting a video together. I found that I used the same clip several times and trimmed the front and back sections to get the exact pieces I wanted. That allowed me to string together the shorter clips, insert stills and mix up the transitions. I need to play around with it more to make sure the video stays interesting. The last piece is the music - I wish there was a better way to time the music to what's happening in the video. That would make it come together much better IMHO.
