VZW Order Status Thread

Got my shipment notification earlier today (8:15am or so). I ordered 6+ 128GB gold at 12:11am PDT. My order does show up in MyVerizon online also. There is a UPS tracking number in both the shipping email and in my order status online. interestingly when I click the tracking link to UPS it says they have no record of that shipment. Also, my CC hasn't been charged. Seems like things are on track . . . just not sure why there is no record of the shipment and no charge yet if it's already been shipped.

Doesn't sound right, the reps seem to be convinced the phones aren't shipping before the 19th. If your confirmation email says delivery of 9/19 you're good.

UPS can take up to 24 hours before it will show up in their system. This is completely normal and happens with everyday orders.Got my shipment notification earlier today (8:15am or so). Every past iPhone launch they use this same crappy wording where it actually means it will be delivered by the 19th. Don't trust me if you don't want but I would be very surprised if your phone shipped the 19th and not delivered on the 19th. Like completely shocked.

Oops, I forgot to put that. When I ordered it was 9/19, supposedly thats what my confirmation said too (thanks for the receive failure Google/Gmail). Looks like its gonna stay that way!
I originally wanted Space Gray, now I'm glad I didn't get it because it seems like all the SGs sold around the time I bought were either pushed to mid-late Oct or Novemeber. Receiving launch day is more important to me then the color of the phone.
When I initially called to order, I later got past the EDCP error and placed my order online, the rep tried to talk me into $19.99 overnight shipping because he was convinced the wouldn't ship till the 19th. I live in SoCal also and placed an order for iPhone 6 Plus, 16GB, Gold @12:11 Pacific and it says 10/14 shipping

That's gotta be it. Weird that they've charged us before they're even shipping the phone out. Technically against their policy.

Reminds me of one rep I talked to today about my phone. I told her is was a 6 Plus and it says Processing for Shipping online. She said impossible because 6's aren't supposed to be shipped out until 9/26. "Oh you ordered a 6 Plus? Oh none of those will be shipping until late October". I told her that people on MR were already receiving tracking numbers and she said they couldn't be unless they ordered from Apple. I asked her to check the system. She said no she knows the ship dates for these phones. I had one of two paths; blow my head off saying that I pay $250+ a month for service, how I have been a customer in good standing for 20 years and how I pre-ordered early and what the online site said. Or I could just hang up.
I hung up in the middle of her talking.
The next person said that it had been moved on to shipping and I should be billed ASAP. I always ask: "Still on for 9/19 delivery?" "Yes, all good you should have it on Friday no problem".VZW Order Status Thread
What range of order numbers are you in? I did the exact same order as you but was done by 12:10 am and have a temp hold on my card but that's it, maybe there is a delay since I'm a brand new customer?

The Plus 16GB Golds and Space Grays were gone first. If anyone gets one on launch day, I'll be surprised. I think Verizon had very few, if any, 16GBs in any other color but Silver.

Possible. Remember that the order numbers seem to be by location, not nation wide. For instance, someone in NY could have ordered at 3AM Eastern and have the same range of order number as me.

I think they get confused because the current wait time is 3-4 weeks.... I don't think a High School diploma is required for this job!

Yup, it's crazy because I checked it one second and it kept saying "check back tomorrow" I read your post, saw my bank lost the temp auth charge but then got an email to confirm my account set up and lo and behold I have a FedEx tracking number now
