Yup, it's crazy because I checked it one second and it kept saying "check back tomorrow" I read your post, saw my bank lost the temp auth charge but then got an email to confirm my account set up and lo and behold I have a FedEx tracking number now

Congrats! I need to check mine and see if I got a tracking number. :D

VZ Sent me an email address confirmation, and i checked the pre-order status. and it was there.

Ship date: 9/13... lmao. It's been on my mind the past 3 days and for nothing :mad: oh well. No info from Fedex yet but a number is enough for me.

Looks like the northern shipment center isn't cursed after all. I have a Silver 64GB Plus coming if anyone wants to know for reference.

That's what I'm getting too, I wonder if it has more to do with the phone you're getting versus your location? Maybe they're going through different models of the phones and sending those out, and 64gb silver pluses are the current batch they're working on

Just got my tracking number (checked the preorder status). I'll probably receive the official email tomorrow morning.
 
The thing you all should realize is that, #1 the people you are talking to work for Xerox and not Verizon and #2 they are generally fired after 1 year so Xerox does not have to pay them benefits.

This is why you get all of these bizarre answers to your questions. They have no incentive to learn anything or even really help you.

I think you're right. I mean it's no coincidence that we all got this update at the same time. My tracking updated 7 minutes ago to "picked up" so yeah there has to be a bunch of silver 64GB's that just got sent.

I ordered a 64GB Space Grey iPhone 6 Plus just before 1am on 9/12 via Verizon Edge. While the website said delivery by 10/7, the confirmation email I received said delivery by 9/19. I hadn't paid off 50% of my current iPhone yet, so I had to pay a fee to "edge up". My credit card was charged this afternoon, and my order status is now "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back later."

Hopefully I'll have a tracking number tomorrow! Nice to see some progress made!

Hahaha I think it was either with the 5 or the 5s, a lot of our packages were sent from China, to Anchorage, to Memphis, and then got sent back to Anchorage and then back to Memphis. I can't remember if it was a glitch or if it actually happened, but more bizarre things have happened when shipping companies have iPhone launches to deal with. I wouldn't worry at all. If it's being sent overnight, you probably won't see any movement until Wednesday or Thursday.
 
Yes you should. The same thing happened to me. I called the Internet Orders department (thanks to someone on here posting the number, 866.338.7390) and talked to three people. The first two said it looked like I would get my phone (iPhone 6+ 64GB Silver) in mid October. I asked to speak to a supervisor the second time and the supervisor said since it wasn't my fault, she would put a "Jump the Line" request in to put me back in the same order I was before. Basically when your card is declined, they send you to the back even though they say you have 7 days to resolve it, it just cancels if you don't resolve it.

Well, it appears to have worked. Got my tracking number tonight.

Just curious, those who get the UPS delivery, are your numbers traceable? Also what is your location?
 
I ordered Thursday night (Friday morning) around 12:30am PDT, iPhone 6+, 64 GB Space Grey.

I got the confirmation email (stating delivery 9/19) at some point on Friday, and I got a shipping email this morning at 8:20am. My order status just has a tracking number which leads to a "tracking number not found" error on ups.com (others have said it takes a day or so to show up in UPS's system).

On the order status page there's a link to check the order status from within MyVerizon (if you're a current customer), I tried that and I got some more info. It says it'll ship via 2nd day air (should be next day in order to get here on the 19th, not sure if that's an issue, probably not), on the 18th. Maybe those of you who are curious can check it out and get some more info. Attached is what that page looks like.

edit: the UPS tracking page is now updated and says next day shipping.

for those whose credit cards have been charged, did they charge tax along with it (or even separately)? my credit card was charged only for the phone. i'm assuming the tax charge will appear later but hasn't yet.

Same here, they just charged me the list price without tax. But when I paid for it online, the total was shown with tax. It's been posted on my credit card statement (no longer "pending") so I don't know if they will charge the tax separately or bill it to my account or what. I imagine it will just be a separate c.c. charge.
 
Location N215401 here, ordered the 6+ 64gb gold at 258am est on 9/12. Card was billed Saturday evening. Status said sent to processing since then. Within the past hour it changed to shipped on 9/13. Got tracking number but not in the system on fedex yet.

Keep the faith, you guys. They're starting to move. :D
