First report I have seen of someone receiving an initial order confirmation email after 9/19 and getting a shipment notification. Hopefully my Space Gray 6+ 64 GB ships soon. Original date in email said 10/7.

yep thats what I figured. Says by 10/7 If I dont have any imformation by thursday Im gonan try my luck at the stores friday.
I got an email yesterday at 10:30am saying my phone was shipped via UPS.
The tracking number just showed up in the system. It says the label was created on the 18th. i.e. It was created two days from now. F you, tense! You're not the boss of me!

I ordered Edge as well..
According to what most reps have told me, the upgrade was successful but is a pending order until anything is generated for it.
Once tracking information has been populated for it, the order status page will update with the correct info.
One thing to note is that it seens the Carrier reps, esp Verizon, have no clear idea what the actual date you will get your phone is.
They have a "list" they go by based upon the model, color, date, and time that you ordered your device; which gives them a date of the LATEST that you will recieve your phone.
The changes to your plan will NOT SHOW until you activate your new device.

looks like east cost for sure, and other parts of the country sporadically.
I think we have to wait until tomorrow to sound the alarm, though. My gut tells me tomorrow all of our east cost iPhone 6 128+ phones will ship, so i guess we wait.
Is anyone's UPS tracking number not working yet? It's been over 24hrs and my UPS tracking number still shows as invalid or not in the system yet.

Do you know how reliable this is? Never done it before and don't want to screw up the delivery time and end up waiting all day. I've done the same day after hours pick up when they've tried to deliver and I wasn't there.
Anyone else done this? I'd love to get it right away and not wait for big brown to come hauling thru the neighborhood.
I remember when I bought a new computer I saw UPS in a shopping plaza near my house (hours before they would have delivered) and I took it from him right there.
I did. Ordered 6+ 64gb in gold at 3:10 EST, got confirmation email at 4:43 with delivery by 9/19. Haven't seen a peep since! I can only bill 450 to account so I paid the remaining $18 or so on my debit card, but that hasn't been charged either.
Very reliable, I do it all the time. I'm never home to accept packages so I hold them for will call. As long as the tracking info shows its at the UPS location where it's going to be held, you can go anytime to pick it up.
I have done it several times with no issues - but never for this kind of huge mailing. Not sure how crazy it will be. Like someone else said, I have a free UPS My Choice account. It emails me delivery dates and times.
I ordered the same thing had 500 on the account to spend. Ordered about 5 minutes before you and got a confirmation 2 hours after you weird.

Order that I originally placed was cancelled yesterday.
Long story short, I was on the phone with CS for two hours today. I spoke to 8 representatives (wrote down all of their names lol) total.
The order was cancelled due to an issue with my employee discount? I'm pretty sure others had this issue too.
I had to re-order the iPhone (6+ 64gb). They were able to preform a "Jump the line" request and they changed the delivery date from scheduled 11/4, to Friday.
Not happy with the overall experience, but glad that they could push up the order for me.
