VZW Order Status Thread

just fyi

checked verizon site a minute ago and iPhone 6 regular 64 in gold and 128 in silver are both 9/19 delivery

all the 128s are 10/17 except grey, the one i ordered. that's 11/7. Guess, somehow, I picked the highest demanded phone. Of freakin course. Still no tracking info on my 128+ gray here on long island in new york.

Ugh.

Friday, 09/19/2014, by 3:00 P.M.(by end of day for residential deliveries)
 
My UPS tracking label has finallyyyyy been created! I don't want to jump the gun, but it looks like I'm all set to get my hands on the iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Gold this Friday! :D

And my iphone leather case from apple will be arriving tomorrow. Is it Friday yet?!

From a reddit post - you can use a URL to get a direct response from VZW's ordering system called Iconic.

I am bummed that I can't use it now as I moved in June. The public info they pull the address verification check from hasn't updated. FedEx either. I just tried the verify by postal mail method. Hopefully that works and they will send me a code to input online.

All - FedEx and UPS both have these services. If you sign up (both are free for basic info) whenever you have a package on its way to you it shows up. Often you will see it before you receive tracking info from the company you ordered from. Just passing this on as it is a for sure method to see when your phone has been sent. This way you don't have to try to guess reference numbers or whatever. I usually see the tracking as soon as the label has been created.

This is another rant but another good tip I have for the UPS service....when Amazon prime screws you over and sends UPS Surepost you can set your UPS account to automatically upgrade to real UPS for $5. Then you email Amazon and complain loudly to get your money back and often a free month of prime for not getting 2 day service.:) BTW I just found the above code for premium gets that down to $3.50... THANKS again!

I've haven't found a similar option on FedEx for Smart Post. Wish they would add it as Amazon uses that more to screw prime members over.

Sorry for the duplicate post. I'm surprised that VZW leaves its system open to a simple POST query like this. Makes you wonder about how secure their ordering information is...
 
6+ Silver 128GB ordered about 3:30 EDT...said by 9/19 when ordering. Confirmation email said 9/12/14 ordered and shipped...(weird)....initial lookup stated 10/14. now it is blank....wondering if they're just waiting out for their own stock....doesn't even look like anyone's 128 silver pluses are shipping from any of the carriers....

What time did you end up ordering it and when was your original deliver by estimate?

I ordered at 3:30AM NYC and received a confirmation e-mail with a 10/7 delivery per Edge Agreement program.

Was there anything special/odd with your account/order that would have caused it to get cancelled and reordered?

Employee discount? Edge? Corporate account? Billing/shipping address mismatch?

It looks only you and 1 other person received that email so far.

What time did you order and where are you located?

I'm a corporate user and the contact on my business account. I purchased the 6+ 64gb as an upgrade. I made the order at 3:25 CST...took me about 20 minutes to do this because the pages kept crashing. I received an email confirmation about 30 minutes after my order. I then received a 2nd email Friday afternoon confirming that the order has been processed. Both emails stated that my delivery date is by Sept 19th. When I check the status on my business account online, I have a delivery date of Sept 19th, overnight shipping. But, there is no tracking information.

I have not yet received any shipping or tracking info. I'm thinking I'll receive my shipping info either tomorrow or Thursday, since my order has overnight shipping on it.

Just spoke to a corporate Verizon rep.. Said that any 6+ 64GB orders made between 12am-12:14am will receive their order on 9/19. Anything ordered from 12:15-12:40 will receive their phones on 10/7, despite my email stating it will be delivered on 9/19. My order shows to have been made at 12:33 EST in their ssytem. Still no tracking info. What a bummer. So that means there was only a 14 minute window to order the phone?? ....

I hope this isn't true. :confused:
 
Reps are a joke! Called in because the Check Order Status on MyVerizon is down. They pushed my order back from the 7th that my email confirms to the 14th. They basically are telling me tough cookie and you'll take it and like it and if I go to the store on Friday morning I doubt I'll get it and they can't guarantee my order cancellation if I do. This is such a joke, I have been giving them over $200 a month for 10 years, makes me think about saying take this phone and shove it.

Interesting I can enter anything in the last name field and I get the same result, order being processed, everything else unavailable.

Edit: I am not correct, this happens from Verizon's Order Status page.

I hope it is true but I don't think so. Ordered 6+ 64 GB Space Gray at 3:10 AM EDT (12:10 AM PDT) and my email confirmation said 10/7.
