VZW Order Status Thread

If your email confirmation says 9/19/14, you will get it on 9/19. Always go off of your email confirmation.
I've done countless phone preorders and the email has always been right. Do not go off what the order number lookup says. Those systems lag by days. The email confirmation is a direct confirmation based off of the actual number of units Verizon has been allotted. The verizon iconic sales lookup platform is usually not correct until a day or two before the device actually ships.
When in doubt, refer back to your confirmation email. If your device was going to be delayed, no one would have received a confirmation.
I ordered three IP6+ 64gb space gray two of them have a 9/19 date and the third as 10/7.

My current status shows not available at this time.
It will be interesting to see if the 10/7 date holds or moves one direction or another. I thought about cancelling, but and trying my luck in the stores, but with it appearing that supply of 6+ may be short, I figure that around 10/7 may not be that bad.

If the current status is not available, it's likely back-ordered and will be shipping in 3-4 weeks or so. Don't get your hopes up for delivery before 10/7.
both of my 9/19 devices show not available on the order lookup but the email is 9/19. Don't pay any attention to to order lookup system.
That's 100% not true. If you call up a rep right now, their response is going to be what your email says. I can't remember what iPhone launch it was where we had the same exact issue.....iconic order lookup said different dates than what the email said and the email dates ended up being correct.
ordered mine when i woke up around 830am and was able to get in no problem..

Have my tracking # (iPhone 6 64 GB, ordered 1:00 AM), as of this morning. Hopefully all of the rest of you (at least who got 6's) get yours soon; and hopefully the ones who got 6+'s get some sort of update too. Seems maybe they should have launched the two a week or so apart to make sure they had enough, etc.

it is true that the IP6+ has a tighter supply than the regular 6 but there was more than enough to go around to all the carriers. The reports that none will be on hand for 9/19 is not correct. Verizon plans on shipping up to 80 million iPhone 6s (combined) by the end of the year. If there weren't enough to go around not one carrier would have had a 9/19 date.

just got off phone w Verizon... he tried to say on the refernce pre order that the Ship to date :9/19 he says it will ship thjat day. but when i was pre ordering the phone it said it would deliver by 9/19.. all screwed
I recieved a shipping confirmation (incl. FedEx tracking number) from Verizon this morning. It says it will be delivered Friday, 9/19 before 3pm. It looks like they're sitting in a warehouse in West Chester, PA.

I think he's saying 9/19 is the ship date, not delivery date.
My email says delivery date.

Don't worry it will delver by 9/19. The Reps don't always know what is going on. My buddy ordered one over the phone and the guy tried to talk him into 19.99 overnight shipping and he said no standard is fine, it got to him on release day.
Have any of you been a part of an iPhone launch before? None of this is unusual. As for the tracking numbers for some and nothing for others, remember when Macrumors posted the story that phones were already shipping to the US before preorders even started? People's phones will be coming from all over the place, so shipping times will be different. But USUALLY everyone will get their phones by the date on their confirmation, if not sooner. I've seen the phones from the carriers, especially Verizon, show up a day early plenty of times (when I ordered my iPhone 4 it came two days early).
Just wait until about Wednesday when some people don't have tracking numbers and everyone is freaking out.
The problem is the reps half the time are just trying to get you off the phone and don't have a clue. And you've also got a couple of trolls in these threads spreading the fear. Just chill. Start freaking out Friday when your phone isn't "Out for Delivery."

Checked the order status website and the tracking # is there. Checked FedEx and it says picked up in Memphis, TN.
