That's certainly possible too. It wouldn't surprise me. If they're sold out you could probably stand outside for 15 minutes and sell it.
 
Got in my pre order within the first half hour they went live.. Have a confirmation email with delivery stating 9/19 but order status page shows "not available at this time" .. Really hoping I'll get mine the 19th.

Give Verizon a call. You should be able to refuse the shipment of one when FedEx drops them off.

yes but can't seem to find anyone with a 128 that was charged from verizon

Wouldn't you have to sell it for the purchase price + ETF to break even? Or am I being daft?
 
I did not order my 6+ 64GB from Verizon until about an hour after they starting taking orders, therefore my date looks to be 10/7. Hoping for sooner, but expecting it to be every bit of 10/7 or worse.

I paid by Discover. So far no charge, other than they did a $1.00 pre-authorization, obviously to confirm that the account was valid. It sounds like it will be a good sign if I see the full charge pop up soon!
 
Hmmm.... No tracking yet. My order still says "We've received your order and it is in process", with the date stating 9/19. Gotta check and see if the card's been charged.
 
Sniffle. Mine still says "Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time." I called Verizon twice and both reps told me my phone already shipped so I don't know what is going on. :(

i got the same message when i checked the confirmation number. even the email said it deliver by 9-19. I'm not sure. i want to go by the email:)
 
I finally got through to verizon. For those of you that are new customers and are trying to apply a corporate discount, the guy I talked to said we first have to activate the plan before they can see anything then we should be able to add the corporate discount to our plan and get the activation fee waived by calling in and explaining.

Sounds too easy, but I'm sure it will work out in the end.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but when I talked to them it really seems like their screens, or something, make it look like everyone's phones have shipped. If you press them and ask for a tracking number that's when they'll realize they may not be looking in the right place.
 
has anyone ordered for expected delivery of 10/28?

what are the chances of getting it on 9/19 at a VZW store for full retail in order to retain my UDP.

Mine said the exact same thing all day yesterday and this morning - but after some time it changed and I got charged! So don't lose hope! :)
 
CC charged the full amount for my 6 Plus this morning. Status has now changed to "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow". Based on the past when I have ordered an iPhone through verizon, this means I will get a tracking number in a day or two,

Does yours show this? I could have sworn I only typed my address in once since there was something that said they have to be the same I think. So I don't know why they would be different on my confirmation email.

Mine shows the exact same thing. I also got an email from the Verizon fraud department and had to call in to verify my address and some other details. They thought my apartment was a business.

My billing went through so that is a good sign. The shipping info contains the apartment number so I think I'm in the clear now.

What did you show as a receive or shipping date when you ordered? I show a date of 10/7. My Discover has not been charged yet.
 
For those with tracking numbers:

Does FedEx show any origin or destination info? Those fields are blank on mine. Looks pretty generic...
