Just a thought... Referring to your order confirmation email. If you ordered the plus within the first half hour but was given a later date than 9/19, what is your "order location" start with? W or E?

My theory is the east coast distribution center simply does not have enough units compare to the west coast. After all it did came in from China. For some reason Apple/carriers did not distribute the units equally between the west and east coast.

Just a thought. But of report in if you are in the said situation, where you did preorder fairly early but in the conformation email was given a later delivery date than 9/19.

You got yours a day early last year? That's awesome. I don't have a tracking number yet, but my card has been charged so i imagine i'll get my tracking sometime today.

Did you guys get an email when you got your tracking number or was it surprise?

My iPhone 4 arrived a day early and my 5s did. Fedex and UPS have done it quite a bit with the past launches. Id be surprised if it didn't show up on Thursday...but won't cry about it.

Charges always show up as pending first. Go buy something right now with your card and it will show up as pending for a little bit, usually a few days.

I got my FedEx tracking # this morning as well. It looks like my iPhone 64gb Space Grey is in Memphis with a Friday delivery

I have a Plus with a ship date of 10/7.

I just called Verizon, and she said it had shipped out yesterday, but there was no tracking number. She double checked and said yes, that was correct.

I asked her again and she realized she was reading it wrong, and that it would ship 10/7.

Definitely goes to show that it is easy to get the wrong info from them!

I pre-ordered the 6 plus around 3:40am from Verizon's site after trying unsuccessfully for 40 minutes to order from Apple (ie using Apple on-line store and iphone app). Got an e- mail from Verizon at 4:52am with a pre-confirmation number and a deliver by date of 9/19. however, when I click on the order status link in the e-mail & paste my pre-confirmation number in to check the status, get the "We've received your order and it's in process" & " expected ship date not available at this time" messages. Amex has a $1 charge pending. It's still that way as of now.

The fact that people who ordered the 6 from Verizon are seeing the 9/19 date on the order status page, some are seeing the credit card charged, some are receiving tracking numbers.......while I don't see any of this happening for those who ordered the 6 plus.....has me concerned the 9/19 deliver by dates in the 6plus confirmation e-mails are bogus! I'm not holding out much hope at the moment any of us who ordered the 6plus from Verizon will get one on the 19th.

Yea. I preordered at a b&m store at 3pm eastern yesterday. Have a 10/7 ship date also. That's what I'm expecting. Any earlier would be awesome. Closest official Verizon stores are 30/45 minute drive from my place. Apple Stores don't give you the option for single line plans :/

It will arrive on 9/19. It always does. I don't know why they don't change the wording on their website it says that every year.
