I believe the loophole they closed on August 24th was where you would add a dumb phone line to your account, temporarily give it data to get a smart phone, and them take away the data plan and activate the phone on your UDP line. Now you have to keep the data plan on the new line.

Did any of you other 9/19ers also get a handwritten letter of congratulations from Tim Cook calling the non-9/19ers "slow fingered web bums"? I'm all for feeling special, but think that's a bit harsh. Lovely notepaper though - light purple with a really subtle lavender smell. He signs with three kisses.

So, I was one of the pre-midnight preorders, and my order was cancelled by a system issue on Tuesday. Was planning on going to a VZW store tomorrow, but was advised not to by an employee due to the likely shortage of 128 GB 6+s.
SO I decided, what the heck. Why not. And called Verizon one last time. Didn't expect anything, BUT had a brilliant, extremely friendly rep rebuild my order & submit a jump in line request for me. Absolutely thrilled, as I was supposed to be receiving my device tomorrow.
Just curious, for others who have had Jump In Line's submitted...how long does that take? Current order status says 11/04, but he said that should change sometime soon. Just curious

One (Silver) of the three 6 128s I ordered the afternoon of the 13th is "At destination sort facility" in Fort Lauderdale. It departed Newark, NJ, at 2:43 and arrived in FLL at 5:09.
The other two (Gray and Gold) are still in Memphis, TN, with a "Shipment information sent to FedEx" status since 5:01 am.

My jump the line request put a pending charge on my card a few hours later and I got shipping email the next morning. My order status still said 11/4 all the way up until it shipped.

I hope not, mine has been there for two days too. I thought it would be headed my way to Virginia by now, but they've still got plenty of time to get it here I guess.

Same issue with the cancellation. I also ordered a 128GB 6+ SG before 3am EST. I just finally got my jump the line application approved today. They told me that I should expect a tracking number soon and that they will be shipping it overnight. I don't even have an order number I can check. So I'm in the same boat!
He's got jokes, well that was kind of funny but come on if your getting your phone tomorrow exit stage left and let the rest of us 10/7 and beyond sulk in peace.
Mine is, even tho I said in my preorder that I would keep my existing sim. Oh well lol
And Touchdown.....My iPhone just arrived in Orlando...Now just a few hours and it will be here. I wish I could drive the 50 miles and go get it now!

The rep told me there was an off chance it could come for me tomorrow (but I was on the phone with him until 4 CST, so I'm not holding my breath.) But it beats 11/04 for sure!
Are you a new customer? I went and opened an account on 9/13 around 1pm PST and I went from 10/7 to not available now back to 10/7
Well I knew it'd be too good to be true LOL. I just checked status again and it's back to 10/14.
I ordered around 3pm PST and I am not a new customer. Iphone 6, grey, 64gb.
The plane was supposed to depart at 04:19 CDT and it hasn't departed yet. Clearly something is wrong.
Why did they not travel together?
So, I ordered two 64gb iPhone 6's about 5 minutes apart right when pre-orders opened. I got tracking numbers for both on Saturday (separate orders, separate e-mails) and both FedEx tracking numbers showed that they were in Memphis and scheduled for delivery in Miami on 9/19 by 3 pm. Both showed no movement until earlier today.
Now, one iPhone is on the flight from Memphis to Miami and the other remained in Memphis.
Is there another flight? Did one of my iPhones get left behind? Kind of odd.

Long story short:
Ordered yesterday 9/17.
Shipped Today (Fedex) In West Chester.
Delivery by tomorrow night at 8 pm.
Really happy Verizon took care of it for me.
