VZW Order Status Thread

Mine has started moving around inside the Memphis Fedex hub. Been still since last Sunday when Verizon dropped it off. Has not left the hub yet, but been scanned three times in the past 2 hours.

that only happens when the package has been mangled horribly

I learned from others on this fine forum that Verizon has something called "jump the line" where they escalate your order and push it up in the line due to errors that occurred or for other reasons. The ECPD profile error delayed my order for almost 2 hours from 3am until almost 5am last Friday. So I called the Internet Orders team and they submitted my request last night when my ship date was 10/14. Now I'm getting 1 of 2 phones ordered tomorrow so far.

Sorry for the late reply...

My order status showed a processing date of 9/18 at 10:52 AM when it was before 7 AM PT, which I found strange. Sure enough, at 10:52 AM ET my order went from "Ready for UPS" to in transit. Moving from Louisville out my way now.
 
Mine left at 4:42 local time but not sure what flight its on, none of the flights out of Memphis are going anywhere that would make sense for where I live, will be interesting to try and find the flight after it lands.
 
Probably haven't filed the flight plan for the flight out yet. Probably going to be KEWR-KMEM. I wouldn't be worried regarding this.

I stayed up until 3 and succeeded in placing an order through AT&T but I accidentally ordered a SG 128 6, not a 6 plus. WAH_wah. (Note to self: Don't order expensive items half asleep.) I had to call AT&T customer service the next day to cancel as the website would not let me cancel on my own.

Next morning I ordered the right phone from Verizon store after AT&T across the street told me I'd have to wait an hour to speak to someone. (Note to AT&T: It pays to staff up for days like iPhone launch).

I got a dreaded 10/21 date. It seems some people here ordered later than I did and got 10/14 or better. Even more annoying--Apple Store online has still has a 3-4 week delivery estimate even now--almost a week later.

I hope I do better than that.

I jumped the line too and they shipped one of my phones today and will have it tomorrow....a 6 Plus 128GB Silver for my wife. I have a tracking number for that one and it will be here tomorrow by 8pm.

I also ordered a 6 Plus 128GB Space Gray which I won't have a tracking number for yet.

They charged my card the full amount for both phones so I expect I may get a tracking number for mine tonight....maybe.

Either way, jump the line worked because my ship date was 10/14 for both phones. :D

I used the edge program upgrade in store on the 12th for pre-order and my phone is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. You can either turn it in at a corporate store or wait for a return box to be sent to you by Verizon.

just got 2 ups notices just waiting for first scan so I can have them held this way I can pu at 730am. don't want to wait till ups 1030

A phone fell off the plane so they went back to look for it.
 
Now starting to worry. Phone is still in Newark and supposed to be delivered to Albuquerque, NM. I hope it makes it here.

Lol, mine did the same thing. But all that matters now is that it finally left 20 minutes ago!

My phone just finally moved out of Newark so yours is prob hitting the sky soon too. FedEx is pretty good on their delivery dates so I wouldn't worry.
 
For those of you with 10/7 shipping date, will you continue to check your status repeatedly, or will you wait a couple weeks?

I keep telling myself I will not look, and yet I look. Addiction. And, a waste of time. I almost feel like I am playing the slot machines. Press submit and wait for the jackpot.
 
So wait, let me get this straight, that "jump the line" ************ is real? How many people have done it?
 
Had tracking, now Oct 7

I had a tracking number this afternoon and they charged my card. When I got home I decided to check again and it said it would not ship till October 7th. My other plan runs out on October 4th. Now I have to pay for a whole month for just 3 days. This really sucks. I ordered on the Verizon web site at 3:15am for my 6+. How can I first have a tracking number and a conformation email that says I'm getting it on Sept 19 and have my card charged, then all of a sudden it switches to Oct 7.:(
