Those of you who have experience with FedEx deliveries... I won't be home until 4:30pm tomorrow so I will most likely miss the delivery. Will I be able to pick it up tomorrow evening at whatever location it says, or will I have to wait until Monday?

I ordered on the 14th of Sept. around 9pm for a 64 GB Gold iPhone 6 which said deliver by 9/19. Just got an tracking email early this morning saw it when i got home from school. Checked it and FedEx says i'm going to get it tomorrow around 1 pm!

I'm in the same boat. Both my phones shipped UPS, no real tracking info yet, just order processed ready for UPS pick up
You're not alone... mine did the same thing around 3:30 AM today... but I have faith... mine is heading west coast (phx) so, even if it's on the east coast, they can make up the time on a flight with the time change...
Where I am, they have Saturday delivery and missed deliveries on Friday will be retried on Saturday.
UPS is on top of the shipment tracking right now for sure, at least on my shipment anyway. Left Louisville at 3:42 and arrived in Houston at 5:42. My tracking info reflected the arrival scan at 5:48.

Line 1 (me) - Unlimited Smartphone Data (No Upgrade Eligible)
Line 2 (wife) - 2GB Smartphone Data (Upgrade Eligible)
I want to use iPhone 6 on Line 1 with Unlimited Data.
I pre-ordered iPhone 6 last week (due on Sept 19th) under Line 2 since it said upgrade eligible using new Verizon edge plan for the monthly payments option.
Please assist: When I receive the phone how can I transfer the iPhone 6 to my number so I still keep unlimited data and my wife still keeps her old phone on her line.
Do I need to call up Verizon customer service to have the switch done or can it be done online?
Should I not turn on the new phone just yet?
Do I need to do something with the sim cards on both the iphone 6 and my old iphone 5.

You shouldn't have a problem doing it online. Just log in and under the manage devices section, hit activate or switch device and it's pretty easy. Just select your line, it will have you input the sim and serial number for the phone and it should activate on your line no problem. Nothing needs to be done to switch any SIM cards, and you can do it immediately.
So, this is going to be long winded but the craziest thing just happened to me. I called the internet orders number to check on the status of my phone and to my surprise I received a tracking number. When I hung up the phone the tracking number that I received had a delivery date of tomorrow but was being sent to Chula Vista, CA (I live in PA). I called back and was told that someone gave me the wrong tracking number and that I wouldnt be receiving my iPhone until 10/7. So to sum this up the rep gave me the wrong tracking number to get me off the phone!! This is why I hate VZW but theyre the best as far as coverage goes. I also found out the breakdown of when you should expect your phones (assuming you got a VZW iPhone 6+ 64gb in gold). These delivery dates are based off of when the phone was ordered.

When the phone comes do not turn it on. Take the SIM card out of your iPhone 5 and put it in the iPhone 6, this will activate the iPhone 6 on your line. If your wife is taking your iPhone 5 you will take her SIM card and put it in the iPhone 5. If your wife isn't switching phones than you do not need to do anything with her phone/line/SIM.
