I learned from others on this fine forum that Verizon has something called "jump the line" where they escalate your order and push it up in the line due to errors that occurred or for other reasons. The ECPD profile error delayed my order for almost 2 hours from 3am until almost 5am last Friday. So I called the Internet Orders team and they submitted my request last night when my ship date was 10/14. Now I'm getting 1 of 2 phones ordered tomorrow so far.

I still don't see how you guys are getting this done, I have tried multiple times to do this as well, my order was placed in the early morning of the 12th sometime shortly after 12 am had the ecpd error had the fraud department error, and my order was delayed until 5:17am PST and yet they still refuse to do anyhting. What gives??![]()

My Fedex order status info updated at 4:58 this morning to say "Shipment information sent to Fedex" It was sitting in Memphis since Saturday.
I had one rep tell me they weren't 100% sure, but they think I would lose unlimited data, and the other say I definitely would not lose it. Just call them and ask if you're not sure. And then buy the phone on the phone or on the web. Do NOT buy at the store, because they will activate it there.
Verizon's website says:
"You may terminate service for any reason within 14 days of activation. If you purchased a wireless device at a promotional price at the time of activation, you must return it within the device return period to avoid being assessed an Early Termination Fee of $175, or $350 if you purchased an Advanced Device. You will remain responsible for your Activation Fee unless you terminate service within three days of activation. You will also be responsible for all applicable usage fees, prorated access charges, taxes, surcharges or other charges that accrued to your account through the termination date."
which I am taking to mean you can return the phone and cancel the contract it something gets messed up. But again, I would call and make sure.
But if you really cannot lose your unlimited data, it's worth it to just pay the unsubsidized price. I want to keep unlimited, but can deal with going to the Max promotional plan if I have to.

VZW "shipped" mine early this AM and it's been ready for UPS pickup all day - Still no pick up.
Showing as next day air with delivery tomorrow.
Sure hope UPS swings by and gets the phone from VZW at some point --- Starting to think the whole thing will suddenly show "arrives Monday" at some point.
Seems like it would have been picked up and scanned by now, no?
UPS doesn't update as quickly as FedEx. Most of the time the first scans don't show up until overnight...
