VZW Order Status Thread

I did, ordered at 5:01 AM eastern (64 + gold). I am also hopeful it will arrive sooner, since that was the first date that ever showed after 9/19 despite being 2.5 weeks later.
I paid by Discover. Verizon did a pre-authorization of $1.00 on my account right when I ordered, obviously to confirm that it was a good card number. I am sure that will drop off in the next day or so. I am hoping to see the real charge soon!
That's the SIM card; no idea why the other one doesn't show it. Maybe it doesn't have one, or they assume you have one you'll use yourself?
I ordered at 1am Pacific / 4am Eastern. I initially tried via apple.com, but with it going up late, I went through Verizon. In just that one hour, the dates appeared to have gone from 9/19 to 10/7.
you ordered a 6+ at that time and expect it to be here 9/19? that gives me a little hope haha
I didn't even realize that I sat there hitting refresh for 2 hours before getting through. That damn Verizon error kept holding me back and I couldn't do "add a line" through the app.
Since the second wave of Apple shipments are 10/1-10/6, VZW is probably getting theirs during the same period, hence the 10/7 date. I think it would be safe to at least consider it may come earlier!
No, not expecting 9/19, but I anticipate it may come the week of October 1.
I ordered a 6+ 16gb Space Grey at about 3:10am (which was about 12:10am in pst or whatever the timezone is that said 12:01 was launch time) so basically I was pretty darn early but I still got my confirmation email that says will deliver by 10/14?? I don't know how I was so early but my date is so late...do you think that I have a chance of getting it 9/19 because if not I may cancel my order and go wait in line at Verizon on 9/19 since our Verizon is in a relatively small town and they said they've never had more than 5 people line up before.

I too am hoping that it may come a bit sooner than 10/7.
This Friday is going to be very interesting! I am looking forward to hearing what 6+ availability appears to be like in the stores.
When I got on Verizons site at about 305 the only phone that wasn't a 9/19 ship date was the 16gb plus. It's the reason I went with the 64. Did you see a 9/19 ship date when you first got on?
I ordered a 6+ 64GB Space Gray. It appears that I ordered about 50 minutes after you did, yet I received a date of 10/7. Not sure if it is that their system is goofy or if maybe it is the difference between or orders (you-16GM; me-64GB). It will be interesting to see what happens!
is everyone showing two products in their Fedex shipment? an iPhone and a 4G sim card?
It was a 9/19 ship date as I was getting on but I had to go through a few extra steps to transfer my upgrade which took about an extra 5 minutes so that could be it but I still would think I should have been early enough to at least get a 10/7 date. :/
I hope their system is just being goofy and we get lucky and get ours 9/19! But it could bet that more people were springing for the 16gb since it was cheaper...I should have gone for the 64gb haha!
They will be forced to hold it at you local facility until friday. Apple does not allow them to deliver before the 19th.
I received the same shipping date after getting numerous errors with the Edge plan not populating at all. After refresh after refresh I was finally able to submit my order and I missed my 9/19 window and the space gray 6 Plus (64 GB) slipped to 10/7. After all this I wasn't done with my purchase until 3:20AM due to the errors.
I would like to think there's a chance I could still get it the 19th but I'm not going to get my hopes up.
That's the way it should be. Inside the box will be your phone, with a second packet with the sim.
verizon is absolutely retarded. why the heck would they ship one w/o a sim and one w/ a sim? the rep then proceeds to tell me that not all iPhones need a sim card and i should be fine. this isn't real life...
It appears that you and I are in the same boat - 6+ 64GB Space Gray, with a date of 10/7. I hope both of us have a FedEx truck at the door sooner than that!!
Still waiting patiently for my tracking number. I've already been charged the full price so i imagine it'll be any time now.

I ordered a 6+ 128 at 314AM and both the site and the confirm email say 9/19 but the site says 10/14. What is interesting is that I get emails every time a telephone charge goes through on my CC and I didnt get one although this card is the same they charge each month. But on my 6 Regular that I ordered I got the email and it is getting ready to ship.
I better get a shipping confirm otherwise I am camping out on THursday night at the mall as I know there will be limited supply at Apple Store and need to be in Front of line
