I was at work today and at noon central time i got an email from Verizon. It was confirming that my item would arrive on 9-19. From Fedex, no later than 3pm!! (Iphone 6 128gb gold model) Ordered mine about an hr after preorders started that night! So now it is just me patiently waiting till Friday!

My e-mail confirmation at time of order said 10/7, but now my on-line order status check says "Not available at this time". I am praying that does not mean the date is going to slip....

A lot of people getting charged for the regular 6...I've yet to be charged or receive tracking info for my 4 regular iPhone 6's 16GB...confirmation emails say 9/19 though.

This has got to be one of the few instances in life where we WANT to be charged for something! I've been checking my Discover account via mobile app quite often. Not sure that I ever wanted to see a charge show up!

verizon is absolutely retarded. why the heck would they ship one w/o a sim and one w/ a sim? the rep then proceeds to tell me that not all iPhones need a sim card and i should be fine. this isn't real life...

I chose to use same sim. So i should not get another sim card.

I got the email order confirmation, but that is all. The delivery date in that also says 9/19 so it seems I got in my pre order early enough so I don't understand why I haven't gotten a shipment notification yet, hopefully it will come at some point today, if not then idk.

Even though I could've used my current SIM, I opted to get a fresh one with potentially it being a newer revision of SIM then the one that came with my iPhone 5 two years ago.

It's the same sim I used when I went from 5 to 5S. Sim has nothing to do with XLTE. It's the hardware. If it's a nano sim, it will work.

Does anybody know if using a CC with a different name than is on the cell account will cause an issue. I stopped into a store to ask and the store just opened (new location) and the guy acted like he had no idea what he is doing, but didn't seem to think it would cause a problem. I managed to get into a live chat with Verizon this morning and the lady stopped answering me and never did answer the question. The billing address and shipping address are the same.

I ordered using a CC with a different name than the account holder as well. You should not have any issues as my CC has been charged and order has been shipped.

My order confirmation e-mail said delivery would be 9/19, then order status online told me October 7th, then later said "Not available at this time" so this morning I look at the order status again and it told me it was being processed and to check back tomorrow. So my situation is like several other people who ordered a 6+. I have yet to receive an e-mail saying the item had been shipped and/or find a tracking number UNTIL NOW. I logged into My Verizon on-line, on the left hand side of the screen there is a list of things you can look at, I hit the arrow at the bottom of that pane to expand and then clicked on "Check Order Status" and it pulled my list of orders. Next to my iPhone 6+ it had the actual tracking number and linked me to Fedex's website where it gave me all of the shipping info and told me delivery would be Friday per Fedex.

I suggest some of you who are still in doubt try that and see if it gives a tracking number.
