VZW Order Status Thread

A VZW rep I called just told me that they've stopped letting people charge new iPhones to their accounts because the order volume is so high. You have to use a credit card now.
 
VZW Order Status Thread

Our phones got here around 12:15. UPS never updated them to out for delivery. Took fiancé his 6 plus and went to Best Buy to buy a Speck Candyshell Grip. Just got home to actually start messing with my 6 and so far I love it.
 
Delivered to my office but have to wait for mail room to process my package. I went up to the mail room and they literally have hundreds of packages to processed. LOL figures.

I checked the VZW site for status and my date moved from 10/7 to 10/3... I mean I'll take it! :eek::D Still haven't been charged yet though. Anyone else with 10/7 been moved and or not charged yet? As I sit here watching drop test videos I couldn't help but think of this forum and how many of us cringe watching them.

Don't think it truly bumped people down the list...

Most people who got their devices today already got tracking a few days prior.
 
Anyone in the River Oaks area of Houston gotten their phones yet? Said on the truck at 0752. Still waiting... I went to the Apple store at 10am to buy a case, not many people left in line there and they still had tons of 6 and 6+ there just sitting on the counter and in containers on the floor. Should have just bought from the store.

First impressions?

It tastes very different to the 5s. More glassy, less of that metallic gin like aftertaste. And the smooth edges mean that it's so much more satisfying to lick, especially side to side - no more of those "up-down only" problems. It also fits much better between my butt cheeks. That bevel does SO much. It finds its way with hardly any effort. Haven't tested on my wife's yet, but I reckon the screen is now big enough that it won't get lost like the 5s used to. Man, no more digging around for it up there first thing in the morning before I've even had my cheerios. Haven't turned it on yet. We organized a big party sunday afternoon for that. My uncle's even flying in from Quebec and everything.

So yeah... so far? Very happy.

hahaha same here! I had a 10/7 date and it got moved to 10/3 which is awesome but still not today :( Have you been charged?

Hey selmy,

So I called them (*611) and had to wait, then spoke with someone, then got transferred to an activation specialist. She looked it up and then said let me do some work on it and talked to the porting people. It ended being about a 40 minute call, but she got them to move the porting date up to today. So apparently it can be done. Then I just had to all to activate from a different line. So I did that.

I am still waiting for my phone to restore off the backup, but I think when my phone comes back on, it should be activating or activated (anyone, feel free to chime in if I'm wrong). I will keep you posted, t minus 27 minutes until the restore is done.

ok, so my i6 external speakers produce no sound whatsoever? no music from iPod and no speakerphone sound? is this a hardware issue?

Mine just got delivered to my house, and apparently Verizon packs it super super loose. This happen to anyone else? Doubt anything's broken, but I haven't gotten home to open it yet

I had two in my box, but yeah even with that it was loose, but had a few of those air packet things. Not enough if you ask me, though.

That's probably how mine is. My dad calls me and goes "wow they pack it loose!" and shakes the thing for me to hear. Pissed me off totally.

My 10/21 date moved to 10/17. :D
