Yeah, the rep said he was going to ensure overnight, to make up for the hassle I went through this week. Fingers crossed for the weekend! :] can't wait for a tracking #. I'll update when I get one!
 
And my phone is still sitting in Memphis. Never had this type of problem with Fedex before. They are usually very reliable.

Mine left Memphis at 3pm today. Unlless there is some miracle, I'm thinking fedex missed the delivery date for my phone. :(
 
After getting the dreaded 10/10 delivery date I decided to take my chances at my local Verizon store. Waited in a short line for about 1 hour, picked up a 6 64gb Space Gray which I think is a perfect size. The Plus is huge!!! I'll wait for my 128gb plus pre-order to arrive and will decide which one to keep. ;)

Staff was VERY nice and updated the line regularly. Doughnuts & Beverages were available.

P.S. They had only (2) 6+ which went to a guy that was #1 in line since 10am PST Thursday. :eek:
 
Well after earlier saying I was so glad Verizon shipped mine Fedex b/c UPS doesn't get to my house before 7pm..... here I still wait on Fedex and it's almost 5pm. Meanwhile, I've already picked up BOTH of my other orders from Apple through UPS.

Yeah, super crappy. I'm pretty pissed right now. Got off the phone with support. They couldn't tell me why, but my delivery date shows to be delivered today. My email and my online order status. But despite this, they said that i'm on the Oct 7th delivery date (even though they can't see it in the system). They told me this only because they don't see my phone in the hands of a shipper...

I've just emailed my acct rep and who knows, maybe they have one on hand to 'fix' problems like this. I hope they can resolve it. Otherwise, I'm going to cancel I think and just be a pissed off, resentful person for a while, hehe. Really though, they could have at least updated my order information to reflect a delivery date in Oct or something so that I wouldn't have had my damn hopes up this whole time. Card was charged, everything said it would be delivered today...no mention of delays on my account. Really disappointed in VZW right now. Had I known this would have happened, I would have cancelled or used another available upgrade to get another iphone this morning...the store is right next to me.
 
Maybe tomorrow...

Well, my USPS tracking has not changed since 5:30 am, except it now has an "expected delivery date" for tomorrow. :) Here's hoping!

Juuuuust curious (i'm getting a wee bit excited)

How long did it take between the time you got billed & your tracking # arrived? I got billed about 5 hours ago :rolleyes: and the rep said I could possibly get it tomorrow :eek:

That rep may be right - for the one phone that shipped we got charged on 9/12 but the email with the tracking number didn't arrive until 9/13.

My thanks for making me think for a moment and finding a reason for patience. Another phone made it to processing today and I got charged for it around noon but have been concerned since there has been no tracking number. I have to admit still being irrationally anxious but a bit less so now.

One thing I love about UPS, is they'll deliver your packages even if it's 9pm.

Fedex at least where I live typically won't deliver after 6:45pm ish. They'll say delivery attempted customer not available or release not authorized etc. I was pissed back when the Note 3 came out. The Fedex truck never even passed my house.

Again that's private contractors vs paid hard working employees.

In 2016 I'll preorder through Apple so I can get UPS to deliver my package. The guy is nice and ALWAYS delivers the day it shows "Out for delivery". Unlike the lazy Fedex guy around here....

That's nice, you might be one of the few Saturday delivery iPhone guys.

Most are getting them today, Monday, or the future :p.

One of mine is too. The ups one delivered but the FedEx one still sitting in Memphis and never made out for delivery.
 
Meanwhile I stare disheartened at my Verizon order status page reading "Your order is in process" and a delivery date of 10/10.

I'm beginning to think I'll have a better chance finding out when I'll get my new iPhone 6 Plus 16GB SG by logging onto Find My iPhone...
 
I ordered my 64 GB Gray 6 Plus through my company. Our IT person ordered it on Friday 12 September and received the confirmation email at 9:19 AM EDT. That email has a "Delivery By" date of 21 October. There's also a l link in the email to check order status. When I click I'm taken to an order status site where I type in the confirmation number and my name. It then gives me an order status of "PRE" along with the order date of 12 September and my order number along with an option to print the information. Has anyone else seen that? I'd at least like to see an actual shipping estimate somewhere. If anyone can shed any light on this I'd appreciate it.

Same thing. Ordered same phone at 4:45 AM EST. only confirmation email, set with date of 10/7. Wish i could get more info. I know there are other people that did it through their company account with the same problem. What I wanna know is why it affects us like this. Really irritating. all i want is my iPhone!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

The link in the email for order tracking is very generic (Mine says PRE too). I had the person who manages the account log in and they were able to get more details. Unfortunately nothing changed as the order status said something to the avail of "Determining stock". The estimated shipping date was still the same as what the email indicated.

Though I'm going to probably re-order a bigger model, so I'm probably not going to see mine until the iPhone 6S comes out...

I had to "force it", for a lack of a better phrase. VZ got paid on Wednesday at about 4pmish. Had to call a couple of times, had a jump the line form filled out on my behalf, and got tracking info at 9pm Thursday.
 
It's indirect signature and no one around to indirectly sign. It'll be here tomorrow; I'm just a little bummed to not have my shiny new toy now.

Are you sure? Mine has no signature required at all. I called Fedex to verify.
