Right, I knew it wasn't for Edge -- I was just specifying that "new 2yr activation req'd" includes not only brand new lines to an account, but also those of us who are have contracts that expired and are upgrading with a new 2yr contract outside of Edge.

I have 1 upgrade line on edge and a new line of edge that came with
1GB bonus data/mo. for up to 24 mo. as long as each smartphone remains active on a MORE Everything plan 1GB or higher.

Also i did a 2 yrs upgrade on a line and received the
1GB bonus data/mo. for up to 24 mo. as long as each smartphone remains active on a MORE Everything plan 1GB or higher.

Now i am standing with 4GB bonus since last year when the promo of
the 1GB bonus data/mo. was for life so i am set with my iPad Air 64GB
 
Does anyone know if I can sign up for Verizon's EDGE program for two lines (iphone 6+) through the Apple store??

I was told since i am previous edge customer, so i have no limit.
But new customers have up to 2500 limit i was told.
So i would think yes
 
Where are people getting the estimated ship dates? If I click on "Check Order Status" on the My Verizon page I always get the "We are experiencing system issues, please try again later." error.

Thanks. Mine is still processing and doesn't have a ship date. My original ship date that I got when I pre-ordered is 10/28. I still have plenty of time but I am one of those crazy people that likes to check every 5 minutes to see if something changed.
 
Ordered 6+ 128 gig space gray at 3:10 am on the the 12th. Order said delivery for 9/19 When I woke up there was the confirmation email saying "by 10/7". Checking now and it says shipping 10/10. Whats going on here? Is it a shortage issue? Been reading other people on here having their date be moved up..is there a chance mine will as well? Keep checking the apple store online for in-store pickup and its not available at any store in the Boston area. If, somehow, I find it in a different store..I know I have to call verizon to cancel the order first...is it instant that the upgrade is available while I am at the store?
Process takes about 15 minutes from what I here. Just go in the store when ones there you and the rep will work it all out haven't seen anyone fail to cancel as long as it's like you and the item is far off and hasn't shipped .
 
Just wondering, are all of you who are going to the apple store to get phones and cancelling your verizon preorders, I'm assuming you were not doing that iphone trade in deal that verizon was offering? For the trade in, you have to buy your phone through Verizon right?

I moved from 10/21 to 10/17. Wonder if there will be any more movement or if it's pretty solid now.

there should be more movements, i canceled my pre order that went from 10/7 to 10/3. Picking up both phones today at the apple store as soon as they email me that it's ready for pick up.
 
I would cancel my preoprder and purchase in the store, but I don't want to loose my $200.00 gift card.

We should be able to take our order printout and pick up a phone in the store if it is available.

On the verizon wireless user community, nobody from verizon is responding to the people complaining about not being able to get their order when the store has them sitting there.

Why would you lose your gift card if you purchased in store? You can turn your phone in right then when you buy the new phone.

I've also been watching the apple.com iPhone 6 preorder thread, and numerous people with early October delivery dates for the iPhone 6+ have received shipping confirmations over the weekend for delivery this week (some as early as tomorrow). I realize that Apple is probably giving preference to its own preorders, but I certainly hope that the Verizon customers start to see similar movement, or I'm going to be very angry that I didn't just order through Apple.

Just give it one more day and if you don't see any change in your pre order shipping status through Verizon just cancel it, I know it will be hard to do but from what I am seeing, it will be easier if you just goon apples website and keep refreshing the inventory stock for the iphone you want and in what color you want until it shows "available for pick up" in a store close to your area code. Get it and it will be ready for pick up in a few hours, only problem with this plan of attack is that you should always be checking the inventory status on apple.com so if you cant be bothered to do that every day throughout the day for the next few days then you should probably keep your pre order and hope Verizon gets their Sh#t together.

I've been utilizing this method, and unfortunately, the nearest Apple store is 2 hours away. However, based on what I'm seeing, none of the Apple stores within 4-5 hours have shown ANY availability on the iPhone 6+ over the last few days, but I guess that may change as Apple works to stock their own stores with some 6+ inventory. I'm trying to get the 64GB Space Grey 6+, which seems to be the most scarce.

Right now, I'm going to hang on to that preorder and hope Verizon/Apple comes through in the next few days, especially given the number of cancellations they've had with people picking up the phones in store.

I wasn't going to upgrade but I really wanted the 6 Plus. :p Guess I'll be the only one in here soon.

At 10/24 I'm only half a step ahead of you. This of us that pulled the trigger late have to hope that we get bumped up for delivery. It's been happening with some folks that have early October dates. A couple people said they got a confirm email that delivery is now set for next week. We need a little of that bump-up magic ourselves!
 
I ordered late; as in yesterday 9/20 at 2 pm at my local Verizon store. I wanted to actually see both 6's to make my decision. My husband liked the 6, 64G, white/silver and the store actually had it; he got it, no pre-order and our wait in line was 10 minutes.

I liked the 6 +, 64 G, white/gold, and my ship date is 10/31. The rep had initially said 10/24 in the store but when I checked when we got home it says 10/31.

I hope my ship date moves up; I will keep checking here and refreshing my Verizon online status when I can to see if there is movement.

I could have pre-ordered off the Apple website day of launch as I am usually up until midnight anyway, but I really wanted to see both in person to make my decision on which phone to get.

My husband was certain he wanted the 6+ until we got to the store yesterday and he said it was just too big for him, so to him the 6 felt perfect, and for me the 6+ felt perfect. So now I wait...
 
FYI - I ordered the 6+ 64GB Space Grey at 3:15am EST on 9/12 (i.e. 15 minutes into the preorder), and my status is still saying 10/3 (bumped up from the original 10/7 delivery date).

I hear ya, I ordered 20 minutes into the pre order on Verizon since apple.com was down and the Verizon went down on me as I ordered my 6 plus, order got delayed then went through fraud dept. Long story short they didn't process my order until 3 AM PST so I got bumped to 10/14 then last week it went to 10/10 but no movement since then, no CC charge or email. Where I live in the Silicon Valley, CA home of Apple it is very hard to find a 6 plus in space grey on verizon, I don't do the whole camping out thing so I either wait foe verizon to update their shipping status or play the app;e.com inventory refresh game for the next few days.:mad: Come on Verizon this is a fail on your part, how can so many people be getting their 6 pluses and cancelling pre orders and you are not updating our statuses????:mad::rolleyes:

Ordered in corporate store 9/20 around 2 pm. Store rep was not sure they would be able to enter the order, but it did go through. I6 Plus 64GB Space Grey.
As of right now (24 hours later) order status is still "processing".
We'll see what happens.
