VZW Order Status Thread

I never said it was going to kill my business or ANYTHING like that. All I was doing was asking for suggestions or help, if anyone knew anything or heard anything with there orders or phones, thats all.

And every time I check it it says the same date and "Awaiting Inventory". Its really frustrating cause I know I ordered it earlier. Not my fault the website couldn't handle "the obvious expected increase in traffic." I need the phone for business any help or suggestions how I can get it sooner???

one theory I have as to why all the dates moved up 4 days. When you ordered, it says "delivers by (date)" for me 10/7. Now it says "ships by (date)". Thats the day it will ship by, and would then deliver by 4 days later.

Anyone else agree thats whats going on?

Mine has always said ships by after I check my order status.

Can we get back on topic please? Like the thread says this is for Verizon people that pre ordered looking for status, lets keep it that way.

No, it doesn't. Say order status, not preorder status. Look at all the posts with people questioning their FedEx or UPS Tracking updates, and following their phones step by step.

Don't be grumpy cause you're still waiting.
 
Does anyone know if I cancel my order with verizon will I be able to pre-order right away on Apple. Com? They have phones available to pick up at there stores while I sit with a 10/10 ship date

I'm assuming that you are upgrading and that is why you need to cancel first...? I have not done this personally, but I understand from other forums that the cancellation only takes about 10-15 minutes to show up on your account.
 
Some of you might have seen my posts (I posted a lot since my preorder). I ordered a few minutes before the official time. 6 plus SG 16GB. Apparently Verizon started at 11.50pm 9/11. I completed my order by 11:57pm and got my email with delivery by 10/14. On the online status check it said 9/19 until Wednesday then it went to 10/14 to not available at this time. I called my local Verizon store. Luckily the manager answered the phone. He told me they would get only a few 6 plus and a good amount of regular 6. I cancelled my order on Thursday night and went make line around mid night on Friday. I was already the second in line. Opening time came, they only had one gold plus in 16GB and 128GB each, one plus space gray in 16gb and the rest of the plus were silver 16gb and 64gb. They had the 6 in all models, colors and GB sizes. The guy in front of me wanted the gold one so everything worked out good for me. Hope you all get your device soon. Just wanted to share my experience. For some it was better to make line than ordering online.

Yep, as long as your card hasn't been charged. I canceled mine online with Verizon on the order status page, got an email confirmation almost instantly and was able to order on Apple.com right away.

Yes I mentioned that idea yesterday but someone else, better informed than I am, thought that wasn't the case. I forget why now.
