The problem there is it's not 50/50. It's more in the 3-6:1 ratio of iphone 6 to 6+. There are some data points in analyst notes that point that out. Some of that may be supply driven inherently, but the 6 will be much more popular. The vocal sliver of the internet here may seem dominated by the 6+ but it's not representative.

Yea I ordered an iPhone 6 64GB Space Gray. I'm hoping it'll come sooner.

I have not seen any numbers on the split between the 6 and 6+, so I appreciate your comments. Might mean I am completely wrong about shipping times not moving up.
 
I've been lurking on this thread for days...I'm wondering, am I the only one left who preordered a regular 6, 16gb Space Gray on Friday the 12th and haven't received it yet? I ordered at just before 3:00pm on Friday afternoon. Seems like most people are awaiting the plus.

Yep... 99.9% of us are waiting for our 6 plus's.

If you are waiting for a normal iphone 6, you maybe be able to pick it up in stores.
 
I'm trying to be patient about it, but it's getting hard. :( I'm doing the trade in deal and already received my trade in envelope from Verizon. Not sure if I can still cancel my preorder and switch to in store pick up. I'll probably wait it out and see if there is any shipping movement in the next day or so. I just can't figure out why I'm having to wait so long when I preordered on the 12th and the 6 seems to be much more readily available than the plus. This was my first (and likely last) preorder!

I am so sick of seeing this status. Its' been the same since Day 1. VZW business site was crashing all during preorder and I was late to get through. :mad::mad:

Ordered a 6 normal 16GB Silver. Email Receipt says deliver 9/19. Order still in processing. Verizon customer service worthless. I have received a different date from 4 different reps. including one rep that said it would definitely ship on 9/19. Latest date they will give me is 10/7

Most of the time..Preorder means getting your item on launch day.
This time preorder means you are guaranteed a device even if it's not on launch day.

Since the demand is so great, the devices will be sold out through most of October I would suspect .

I am in the same boat. My 10/7 date moved up to 10/3 last week.
 
just spoke with VZ. The note in my trade in packet said must activate new iPhone by 9/30 to receive the $200. Not possible since they they said they would deliver on 9/19 and now moved me back to 10/7. They are putting a note in my account so I can still get the $200.
You may want to do that also

The "Ship by" on the status page = "Delivery by" from the confirmation email. Everyone who got their IPhones on Friday had "Ship by" 9/19 on the page. I also confirmed this with web store support people.

Hey guys,

I somehow didn't hear about the $200 trade in credit until after I ordered my iPhone 6+. I have a deal locked in with Gazelle for $185 for my iPhone 5 until 10/15. Is it possible to still do the Verizon Trade in deal now even though I already ordered my phone?
 
So I went to both a Verizon store and a att store today (I have att business phone). Both stores were out of BOTH the 6 and 6 plus and said that was the case at all their carrier stores. I asked both when they thought they would get more. Both had similar replies that said they were pretty sure pre-orders would be filled before the physical stores got any more shipments.

Take it for what it's worth but I heard it from both Verizon and att.
