My EDGE receipt and installment agreement for my 128GB space grey iPhone 6 is in the My Verizon section. Haven't received a tracking number yet but I'm guessing I'll have it soon. Email says I should get it by 9/19.
 
Called VZW around 5 min ago and rep said I should get it before the 19th haha.

Ordered 6+ 64, order number 148,000. No tracking # yet.

That's comforting. My order number is 105xxx, only have the $1.00 pre-auth charge from VZW so far. No movement otherwise... And VZW CS rep can't find the order! :cool:

They might be sequential inside of each location code?

Same thing happened to me. I'm thinking it's a good thing, based on what I've seen with others.
 
Ordered by 2:20 CST, 6 128 gold, 6+ 128 silver, initial email said expected delivery 9/19. Checked yesterday and it slipped to 10/14, checked this morning and it is back to 9/19!

No charge or tracking email yet though. Fingers crossed.

They are sequential for each location code. There is another poster with the same location code, as mine. They ordered 30 mins before myself and their order number is a few hundred lower than mine.

I pretty much have the same thing. Ordered three phones (all 6, 2-16GB and one 64GB) at about 5:00am ET on the 12th.

The VZ site says my pre order in process and I have the $1.00 pending charge on my Amex. And my confirmation email says deliver by the 19th.
 
Charged in full for iPhone 6 64GB gold. FedEx delivery date of 9/18. Order number 139K. Got my order in at 3:05 EST.
 
Ordered 6+ 128gb silver at ~3:20am. Email confirm 9/19. Next day status page said 10/14. As of 9/14 10:53am Eastern the status page now says not available at at time. cc has not yet been charged.
 
I called VZW yesterday and a rep told me that on their site they put that the phone will ship in 3-4 weeks just so they can meet demand, but that in reality they still have the iphone 6 plus & 6 in stock. She told me aslong as you order befor the 17th we will ship out for delivery on the 19th. Hoping this is true.

As much as I want to believe this, if you read through this thread, what VZW reps have been telling people has been all over the board and contradictory. As of now, my belief is that the date given on the email confirmation is probably going to be the most accurate for most people unless they have been updated otherwise on the order status page.

I don't blame the reps, I'm sure they are trying their best. They just aren't set up to handle this peak demand. You can't really blame VZW for this either...you don't build a church for Easter Sunday as they say.

Same order, at about the same time (maybe 5 minutes earlier). My email confirmation also says 9/19. However, The status page has never provided anything other than:

My card was charged a $0 pre-authorization (according to my CC company) that went away, and nothing else.
 
It's a sad day when you call Verizon and you know more than the rep who is *helping* you. And that person has the nerve to cash their check... *shakes head*

No answer as to why I can't check my order status, and keep getting errors when I try in My Verizon. Oh and apparently when I switched to Edge, my old phone that was purchased on a 2yr has to be turned in.. :rolleyes:

I don't believe the reps when they make optimistic prognostications, but I do lend credence to their words when they get all pessimistic. The reps at my local Verizon store start out with "based on last time..." so they're not just spouting off. They measure their words carefully.
 
I think our strategy should be for EVERYONE in this 9/19 confirmation at order but were sent confirmation emails of 10/7 or later should call VZW in mass (multiple times) and press them about this alleged internal memo. What exactly does it say? Maybe someone can get a copy or at least some specific text.

I'm hopeful, but both people I called yesterday we SO clueless that they told me my order had shipped on the 12th (I'm a 10/7). It was only after I questioned them a handful of times that they realized they were wrong.

I don't think their systems are any better than the end results we're seeing on the order status screens.
 
VZW Order Status Thread

For what it's worth, I just perused the AT&T order status thread, and no one there has had an iPhone 6+ shipped yet except for one person who just said so about an hour ago.

Guess we'll know Friday the veracity of VZW's email communications. I still think the absence of a charge on your card says way more than an email or what a VZW rep says. If they haven't taken your money, it's safe to assume you aren't getting the goods.

All the charges that cleared on Saturday were probably entered on Friday. I'd say if there's no action on your card by Wednesday, you can probably assume you won't be able to smear your greasy fingers over the oleophobic screen on Friday.

My card was already charged. But honestly dude, even if it doesn't arrive next week...it's all good. I mean it's just a phone lol if one has to wait an extra day or week or whatever, the world isn't gonna end # You'll get your phone bro. What did you get? 6? 6+?
 
I keep seeing posts about people freaking out that the status update hasn't changed on the Verizon website.....that means nothing. If you received an email confirmation, whatever date is on there is the date you will get your phone or earlier. Most people will likely not have their CC charged until either Tuesday or Wednesday.

A lot of us "Pre Order Veterans" go through this every time. I've gone through countless phone releases and it's always been the same thing.....refer to the email confirmation.

Ill explain it again, the Verizon Iconic order site is not up to date. While some people will receive the updated info, most people won't see it updated until the day your device ships. The reason? the iconic system lags. All preorder confirmations are tied to an actually number Verizon knows they will have by 9/18/14. Until they tie your order with a specific device number, the Iconic system will not update. That's why most won't see it update until the day before it ships. Those on the East coast usually get the last updates. As they are usually longer shipping times to the East Coast warehouses. Some already have tracking numbers on the east coast but that should increase as more shipments are delivered to the warehouses.

I've never been screwed by Verizon.....Now AT&T.....that's a different story. I don't want to go through the fiasco i had when I got the iPhone 3GS....

Edge has always been that way. You have to turn in a phone to start on the program.

And don't call Verizon and ask about the memo. It'll only bog them down further.
