I ordered 6 64gb gold on 10/14, called the phone number mentioned earlier for the order dept in order to just verify nothing wrong with my order. Exp ship date is 10/24. Rep told me that there shouldn't be a delay but there is a possibility due to the high amount of iPhones being shipped this week that it may not be shipped til Monday.
On a side note. Did anyone else upgrade even though they were not eligible to upgrade? I called to find out if I could pay my termination fee for my contract and then upgrade to a new phone. The rep said she wasn't sure and she tried to put an order through with me trading in my current iPhone 5s and it went through and she said I wouldn't have to pay any termination fees. (I decided to go to the edge program).
I'm not exactly sure how I was able to upgrade and I'm kinda afraid to ask a csr because they may screw with it and end up canceling my upgrade. But my only thought is that maybe because the trade in value of my phone is 300 and the early upgrade/termination of contract fee was 290 that may have been the only reason I was allowed to do this.
Your situation sounds similar to mine. I was not eligible to upgrade before either. I called because my sister, who is in my family plan, lost her iPhone 4. I wanted to cancel that line and pay the early termination fee. The guy I spoke to suspended the lost phone line temporarily per my request, but he upgraded two of my lines to the Edge plan. I also was afraid to ask why since I knew when I tried before I was not allowed to. He upgraded my iPhone 5s to an iPhone 6 128gb Gold. I have to trade in my iPhone 5s. The other line he upgraded was an iPhone 4s, now upgraded to an iPhone 6 64gb Gold. He said I did not have to mail in the 4s only the 5s.
I also have ship by dates of Oct. 24th.
Well my order ship by date is October 24th, but I just called Verizon to check on it and was told there is a delay and it won't ship out until the 31st!!! Not happy!!!!!!!
Since my phone is shipping today and heading to my local Verizon store here in GA, should it be delivered tomorrow?

According to this it looks like some people may get it on Saturday. But I believe it would have had to have been shipped out on Thursday for that to qualify. Idk, I could be wrong. Best to just hope for Monday or Tuesday delivery if it was shipped on Thursday or Friday.
When checking your order status through the link in the confirmation email, under order status has it always said tracking number? I don't have a tracking number yet but I don't remember seeing tracking number under order status.
Does anybody know if Verizon updates and processes stuff on the weekends. I think I remember them doing that last weekend but I can't be certain, I'm next on the spread sheet and want my phone to ship or even my iconic change by Monday

Wish I had better news for my first post in a couple years. If you have an iPhone 6 64gb silver scheduled to ship 10/24, 10/31, or 11/7, you are unfortunately SOL. Just got off the phone with a very helpful CSR who informed me that Verizon would not be shipping that combination until 11/14.
She proceeded to tell me that a lot of people wouldn't be getting their phones 10/24, as Apple has been having major supply chain issues and is well behind demand now. Surprise!
Considering canceling my preorder solely so that Apple doesn't get the interest on my float / their sales figures go down. The only way they'll improve their supply chain management is if we vote with our dollars.
They definitely did last weekend. I had separate orders for 2 SG 64gb 6s with an original ship by date of 10/31 that processed Saturday of last week.
2 down, 2 to go. 128 SG 6 and 128 SG 6+.
All ordered 9/29 with est shipping of 10/31.
Thats for Fedex Freight, not ground. They work completely different. I don't think ground delivers on Saturday often, you have to pay extra and specify it which i doubt Verizon offers (unless Priority Overnight)
