VZW Order Status Thread

Sad that Verz delayed my phone but never emailed to tell me, only Iconic shows the change and without this thread very few of us would even know about Iconic, no more preorders for me. I'm on Edge this year but won't be next year and can go through aapple.
 
OK I just got an email stating that mine was delivered but they left at the side door and say Signature Service not requested on the FedEx Tracking page. I thought signature was required per Verizon? It was required on my previous phone and I pick it up later that evening. Why would they leave a phone on someone's steps. Not too happy about them just leaving it there. Now have to make a trip home on my lunch to pick it up as long as no one steals it before I get there.
 
Any Gold 6's shipped?

I have a 10/31 Ship By for a 128GB Space Gray 6+ and a Gold 64GB 6 for my wife. No shipping changes since my order and while I'm anxious about my phone I was extra worried that my wife's would be delayed. Does anyone have a Gold 6 in process for shipping currently? Really hoping to get them at the same time since I'm switching from AT&T. I swear if they change the ship by or miss the date I'll probably just cancel the damn order. But for now I'm just trying to think happy thoughts.

We had a 6 delivered last month and the driver would not leave it without a signature. Had to pick it up from the warehouse.

Guess it's a YMMV in terms of adherence to the signature policy.

FedEx delivery question for you or anyone - Was looking through the history on my "Deliveries" App* and noticed the times for my Fedex deliveries the last 6 months or so to the house have timestamps that occur all in about a 30 min window each time (which is impressive). Is that pretty common for residential routes? Is there any delay in the timestamp? If the route times stay pretty consistent, it gives me a pretty good idea when to at least start being at the house for my phone delivery tomorrow!

No no none taken. If you're happy with whoever and what works best for you.

As for delivery times its (for me) pretty consistent. As where I end up during each delivery segment, how the route is setup and ran.

Only real exception could be delayed freight, a 'fill in' driver or vehicle break down but those are pretty slim. So hopefully you'll get it around same time and not later.

Spend more time enjoying this bad boy! Ha ha

Only time it doesn't get one for a residential is if a business name is on the address label. By default VZW doesn't put a signature required on business address. So system thinks it's a business address when in actuality it's going to a resi. Look on your box and see if you have this:

If you do then not sure. If you don't then there's no signature required and it can be left

I live very close to the FedEx facility, and my FedEx packages usually show up to the house between 11-2, but the tracking on the FedEx site still reads delivery by 8 pm.

39 day wait for the iPhone 6 + 64 GB, Gold :apple:

That is the 2-Day residential commit (by) time. You'll get it more than likely AFTER 1030am BUT Way before 8pm

I think shipments come in batches of different colors and different sizes—so Verizon might get a shipment of 128GB Silvers, but a 128GB SG might come later. That's what I've seen at least from the 64GB SG shipments.

I finally got the confirmation number and checked ICONIC and it shows my exp shipping date got pushed to 11/3 🙁 more waiting......
 
My iPhone has arrived in Memphis, TN. Sounds like a major Fedex hub. Estimated delivery time is still tomorrow, (10/30/14, by 8pm). Have a Spigen Slim Armor case already delivered and ready to go.

iPhone 6 Plus, 64G, SG, ordered 09/28/14 at the Verizon Store. Processed and shipped 10/28/14.

iPhone 6 iOS at shipment?

Quick question guys. What iOS was shipped on your iPhone 6's you received this week or last, iOS 8.1? My current iPhone 4s is at iOS 8.1 and wasn't sure if the unopened iPhone 6 I received this last week, has the newest OS on it. (I know... unopened right?!...crazy!)

Does it matter for restore from iCloud or iTunes, if your old phone has a newer OS than the new phone? Just curious...

Got the phone....
(6+SG64GB, order date 9/20, original ESD 11/7)... and I cannot even turn it on (the phone it is supposed to replace is my mother's and she's away this week) but I opened it up and was surprised - there was no simcard tool! People, when did Apple stop including those? I got a brand new iPad mini Retina (not the 3) and it did have one...

The phone is now resting in its Supcase...

I wonder what would I do now, with no need to keep refreshing Iconic...
 
Ordered a gold 6+ 64gb on 9/30, with an estimated ship date of 10/31. From what I am seeing, looks like the non-grey phones are delayed by a few days from Verizon.

ICONIC shows my order status with a "C"...and the ship date sitting at 10/31. Would like to see that changed to an "S" very soon!! The wait is just brutal. lol

Well with a new phone you'll have lots of fun stuff to do, but I do wonder myself what my life will be like when I no longer have to refresh iconic, and checking the macrumor forums every 5-30mins.
