VZW Order Status Thread

A fedex truck came into my court and dropped my neighbor off a package then I saw him leave so I ran out and said I have a package that's out for delivery today, he was fedex ground and mine is coming by fedex express... I felt dumb lol
UPDATE: FEDEX GUY JUST DROPPED IT OFF!!!
So I've seen the 64gb SG 6+ phones have been shipped up to those that ordered 9/30. I ordered on 10/02. Waiting for that S any day now hopefully! What's weird is iconic changed my expected shipping date from 11/14 to 10/31 for a brief moment. I refreshed it and it had switched back to 11/14. this was about 2 weeks ago. Hopefully it was right! I bet it ships around 10/31
My phones have shipped and will be here tomorrow. Here's the timeline, and note that apparently my order was held up until both phones were avail to ship:
9/28: ordered 2 iphone6+ 128GB (silver ship by 10/24 and gray ship by 10/31)
10/24: my silver didn't ship, verizon extremely unhelpful and no email updates
10/24: found this forum, THANKS for all the help you guys!
10/27: Iconic status changed to S around 7pm
10/28: was able to get tracking number via FedEx ref lookup using ACE info
10/28: verizon finally sent me an email at 6pm with tracking info
10/28: fedex picked up the phone and it's in Memphis TN (7pm)
10/29: phone still appears to be in Memphis with scheduled delivery 10/30 by 4:30pm
I will never order a phone through verizon again, they have the worst operations team and customer service I've ever seen. I will also never order more than 1 phone per order. I didn't realize verizon would hold my silver phone that was ready to ship on 10/24 until the gray phone arrived.

Man I hope you're right. As I mentioned yesterday I ordered the same config on 10/4 with a 11/14 ship date. I refresh Iconic like 100 times a day
Well, the phone will be frequently taken overseas, and the plan had always been to pop in local SIM cards while there. In fact I originally hoped to have already done it once, but the iconic status went "S" the day after the current trip started.
And yes, I know I can use a paperclip.
Only 100? LOL I don't know why I keep refreshing ICONIC...only to be disappointed time after time....in the hopes of that "C" becoming an "S".
I have gone from refreshing iconic a billion times a day to refreshing the FedEx tracking page over and over again. When my phone finally arrives tomorrow, I don't know what I'll do. Do they make some kind of patch to help me get over this addiction? Never mind, I already have the answer to that one...yes, it's called a big, beautiful iPhone 6+.
This wait is making me rethink whether or not I should just cancel my iPhone 6 64gb SG order and just pick up a Note 4 instead. I've lost all excitement for my iPhone 6, especially coming from a 5. I am afraid that after I get it, it won't seem that much different than the 5 I have now. I'm starting to think something different and fresh might be cool for a change.
Fedex dropped off my phones. Now I'm waiting for 8.1 to download (shipped with 8.0.2). I would like to point out that no signature was required on mine.

It may seem that way, but I would rather be disappointed for a few weeks then disappointed for 1-2 years. If I were you I would stick it out, its well worth the wait and and huge improvement over the iPhone 5

I couldn't agree more. I went to Best Buy to mess around with all the latest phones. Samsung has some "fun gimmicks", but they're really just gimmicks... and who really want an S-Pen aside from a graphic designer/artist?
My biggest concern, is the 6+ won't last as long as the 6 due to the lack of RAM and GPU to push all the extra pixels.
However, my ICONIC went "S" last night and I'm now sitting here very (im)patiently waiting.
64GB SG plus arrived around 9 central time this morning. Took awhile to update software, restore backup, and sync. But it is fantastic ya'll will be so happy when they arrive. I've never seen macrumors so clearly! For anyone doing early edge, they included a label and a bag to send your old phone back using the box your new phone came in. My store couldn't tell me how to send it back, just that early edge was different then returning for credit. It all worked out and I'm never going back to a smaller phone.
So I'm more than likely exchanging my 5s this afternoon and will be without a phone for about. 2 weeks. Or less. My concern is that Verizon has been telling me a million different things and i just don't want to be without a phone at all. Ugh.
I was in same boat, That's why i got prepaid phone so I can make calls . If you have Mac the new OS let's you text people using imessage through your computer
Just make sure it is returning for the edge credit, because it appears a recycle (not return for credit, but just donate) bag is included in anything Verizon sends these days.
That's what happened to me last year, I saw the big FedEx truck drive right past my apartment and I was sitting at the window like, "da ***?!", two hours later the FexEx Express guy came and dropped off my 5s lol
note, why call it FedEx Express? Federal Express Express? English must not be their primary language lol.
also, I ditched my Medical Sociology class so I can be home to answer the door. Shhhhhhh
I received today both my 64GB 6+ SG and 64GB 6+ Gold. If someone could update the spreadsheet that would be nice. So far I'm quite happy, though it's only been a few hours. I can't believe the wait and repetitive checking is over. Now what am I supposed to do at work?
