Woke up this morning at 3:45. Logged into my VZW account. Added unsubsidized, no contract phone to my cart (to keep unlimited). Showed full price, with taxes, and showed my plan staying the same. Without explanation, as I pressed "next" and navigated through checkout, the system converted it to a subsidized phone and required selection of a new plan. Did this 2-3 times. I eventually logged out. Followed link on main pre-sale page. Chose "existing customer" and logged in. Ordering was smooth from there. Process completed in 15 mins. Got confirmation about an hour later.
Confirmation email and "order status" showed delivery date of 9/19. Suddenly, received a fraud alert from Verizon (not my CC). Called and waited nearly an hour on hold. Provided information to confirm the order was legit. Rep said my order stayed in the queue and would be delivered on 9/19. A few hours later the status still says 9/19.
